  1. I used the bed of the truck for the most part and then running boards on passenger and drivers side. I am 6'2" so it is not really a big problem. I have a step stool that I use when I wash the truck to reach the middle of the hood and windshield.
  2. Welcome to group. I have only been around a few months, but the knowledge and info is fantastic!
  3. I cracked open my bottle of H2O Guard and Gloss on Wednesday. Holy smokes is this stuff easy and the results were fantastic. Very impressed. I know that my White truck doesn't have the 'Pop' that darker colors have, but the shine is significant!
  4. 47 Years old Here is my list: 1991 Chevrolet S10 1993 Chevrolet C1500 Extended Cab 2WD 1997 Chevrolet C1500 Extended Cab 2002 Chevrolet 1500HD Crew 2004 Chevrolet 2500 Crew 2007 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew 2012 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew 2015 GMC 2500HD Denali Crew with Duramax
  5. Easy install....have helper to adjust where tailgate meets cover. That part is important on how it closes against the tailgate. Also, the one point in the instruction says to have 1/8" gap on passenger side where it rolls into track. That is easy, but also important so it simply rolls into the track as pictured. Anything else, let me know!
  6. I have experienced none of these issues. They did redesign from the original just last summer I believe. Mine is working fine. I don't have mine rolled back that often so the looks doesn't bother me.
  7. To answer one of your questions....if your tailgate locks, the tri folds, retractables and such are relatively secure. My Rollx cannot be opened without first opening the tailgate. I really wish GM would put a power tailgate lock that works with the doors. Would be really nice.
  8. Thanks Mark! I did get the Duramax and those rims are actually my winter rims which I saved off my 2012 to run on this one. My summer rims are 20's and polished. Not the greatest picture, but this is what they look like. I am wrapping them up in some Toyo AT's in the 275/65/20 version for a little nicer stance.
  9. I just installed a Bak Rollx on my 2015 Denali and it is great. I have had retractables, standard snap on and tri folds in the past. Every single one has pros and cons. I really like the Rollx because you can hardly tell from the side that it is on the truck. All the ones mentioned above are good and 99% of them require no drilling in the bed. It really comes down to your budget and how you want it to look and function. Here is a decent picture of mine.
