Again... where is the best place to store clay bars?

I have had several clay bars stored in my garage cabinet for a few months. It's been a hot St. Louis summer. I wanted to clay bar a windshield today, not all but one of my clay bars had decomposed... I felt like wet caulk out of a caulk gun... It took a solvent to get off glass surface as well as my hand... This was NOT an Adams clay bar... Has this ever happened to anyone else? should I store them in deep freeze? Thanks.

I also purchased the "wheel Cleaner", until I can get rid of the brake pads on a Nissan, I have bad dust build up.

Made purchase... I currently have Adams Patriot on cars... do I strip that off before sealant application?

Problem solved: 30 year body shop owner, friend, who is a customer of mine, got tired of my phone calls... Came over with His pads & 3m compound - polishes... I put 3 different pads on my Dewalt, did the drivers side fender myself... Then used Adams Patriot wax... Petfecto the 3m system works for me... Good by Form... forever...
