  1. Yes Here's what I am trying to put in the signature. Can you see anything wrong with it? 91 ZR-1 #473 Red/Black 26k 91 ZR-1 #458 Red/Black 72k (For Sale) http://www.usedcorvettesforsale.com/1991-corvette-28690.html
  2. I tried it Bill, still won't allow the third line. It is a link to the for sale ad on another site. Any ideas? I don't think I am over the allowable characters, but maybe. Below is the link I tried to add to my current signature. http://www.usedcorvettesforsale.com/1991-corvette-28690.html
  3. NHRA Corrected run was 12.12 @ 116.6, that's stout, and that was before the new clutch and aluminum flywheel.
  4. Can the signatures be changed to allow three lines instead of two. Much appreciated if so. Thanks
  5. Glad we could get together Adam, and thanks for the compliments. I loved the goodies and thought you might like them. Natalie said your welcome. I am a freak...er...uh...detail freak, thanks for posting. I look forward to the New Year.
  6. See more pics of the whole car in this thread. Thanks...you don't have to be jealous, just buy the car. It's sweeeeeet. OOPs, forgot the link, posted below. http://adamsforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=760

    Adam Visited

Hi Folks, I was able to meet Adam in person over the holiday, and all I can say is what a nice guy. We had coffee, talked cars and Adam spent some time on a few problem areas of my Corvette ZR-1. We had a great time and I think we both have a new friendship to enjoy. Thanks Adam for taking some time for a fellow "waxer". John
  8. I am not familiar with the tuned port motor and effects that degreaser and such might have on it. I can tell you the finish on the LT5 is not very durable and I used GUNK Foaming degreaser on this motor with no ill effects. Stay away from Simple Green though. You might try a small area before soaking the engine down. I didn't leave it on very long. After the cleaning and washing I of course used a combination of the Buttery Wax on the plenum and cam covers and In N Out Spray liberally throughout the engine bay.
  9. Thanks, these motors always draw attention, and this is a very clean example of one. Except the freakin roundy dohicky. That's not stock, there is/was a little check valve under the plenum (for the vacuum secondaries) that fails and that is a temporary fix. Last weekend I replaced fuel injectors and that check valve so the roundy deal isn't there anymore.
  10. Just found out the original...and only... Snake Skinner is going on the auction block at Barrett-Jackson in January. Hope it's televised.
  11. 350 CI of Rompin' Stompin' LT-5. DOHC, 4 Valves per cylinder. The most exotic engine ever put in a Corvette. 329 RWHP @ 5800 RPM - 321 RWTQ @ 3200 RPM Totally Stock...Not for long. They were only installed in the Legendary ZR-1 from 1990 to 1995.
  12. Krzdimond posted the price in the thread before this one. I am asking $20,500 and am willing to deal to sell the car, but I won't give it away. I have money tied up in this car so I am not able to. This really is a great car. I might mention that the only reason I am selling it is I picked up another lower mileage one and can't really afford to keep them both...as much as I'd like to. I love these cars. Thanks again for all the kind words everybody.
  13. That's great. I'll be placing an order Friday then. Thanks.
  14. Couple of questions. When will the In n Out be available after jan again? Do you have any idea when you will have the black Gen 2 pads available agin?
  15. Black Rose, nice car. Good luck with the sale.
  16. Just a story for you Vette folks. When I first bought this car and went to the drag strip, a guy with an 2000 SVT Cobra gave me some crap about the plate. Now the SVT is a special car in it's own right with a DOHC, 4 Valve/Cylinder motor just like the ZR-1. His timeslip read 12.81, mine read 13.52. As I posted in the garage sale area, this car has run 12.53 with headers, open AC lid, K & N Filter, Flowmaster and chip. Pretty stout. By the way, on that 12.53 run the clutch was slipping a bit. Keep in mind this is a 1991 Vette and it will outrun a pile of newer cars. Now another story. In late 1991, GM Corvette engineers were working on a project to annialte all competition. It was a lightened, leaned on fire breathing ZR-1. It's code name...Snake Skinner. True story.
  17. I for one appreciate what you folks try to do for us. Just last week we had two officers that set up here in our subdivision. Man were they ever busy. I called dispatch to let them know those two guys were amazing. They didn't stop for 4 1/2 hours. People have slowed down considerably now. Thanks again.
  18. HammerZR1 SNKSKNR = Snake Skinner IDAHO
  19. Thanks Jason. It really is. I have removed headers from this car to sell it, but with them on it, this car ran a 12.53 @ 113 at Firebird in Boise, Idaho. At tracks where most cars are tested in the magazines (sea level), this baby would be bangin' on the 11 second door. That is stout for a car with the mods this one has.
  20. Guess I don't have any of those qualities. The "new" ZR-1 I got had MAJOR water spotting. I used the S&H Remover with your old green pad and they really weren't going away. I had to use Perfect IT III and a rotary buffer w/ a wool pad to get rid of them. They were extreme. Really though, I suppose this is not what Adams products are all about. Don't get me wrong, I love this stuff and won't buy anything else, but sometimes we need stouter methods and I guess we do have to resort to other measures. I appreciate your time Jason. Thanks.
  21. So am I taking this right? You are currently working on a product to equal the 3M Perfect It? I use this also for the initial application. It would be nice to be able to buy this here. I have to run it down at an auto body supply house when its out. PM me if possible. I keep secrets well.
  22. I didn't know they were available. You guys should just stick one in the box with ever order. 'Course, I just placed an order. Never fails.
  23. I am putting an order in today. I have a question regarding the waxes offered. My cars have all been done with the S&H Rem/Revive/Buttery procedures and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I need wax (got plenty of S&H/Revive) and am curious if I should get another bottle of Buttery Wax or the Machine Superwax? My intentions are to use one or the other as the final step or upkeep on the finishes.
