Old truck deleted
New truck needing to be deleted
I need to buy a polisher before I pull them off.

Maybe some revive on an applicator?
I will try that this weekend and let you all know how it looks. I think part of the issue is the molding is a rubberish material and it almost looks like it dries out and oxides the paint.
-
Those molding suck! they fade and change color compared to the paint on the body. My 2010 I removed them because they were drooping in the heat and no longer looked straight on the door. My 2013 (which is black) the moldings are starting to look dark grey. I hope someone has a good suggestion but I think they might just suck.

Would 3M automotive performance masking tape be good? or no because it has high adhesive strength?
I believe the 3M part number is 03435. Or is Adams bringing anything back to the market?

ok sounds good, I will give that a go.
Thanks!

Can you wash your wash pads in a washing machine? If so, what soap do you use? Its not microfiber so I didn't want to use revitalizer before asking.
I though the pads were dry enough before putting them back in the wash bucket for storage between washes.. I guess I was wrong, they stink!

I have a sick obsession with clean, soft towels. I just ordered a dozen of the new borderless grays.
-
I would guess the improvement would prob be the soft nylon bristles into wood to prevent shedding that boars/horses hair brushes get.
-
I'm totally OCD. Looks like I will be trying some with the H20 so I don't discolor my nice white towels.

they are back? same towel only different color?
What is the difference between these and a double soft?

interesting. I haven't seen that video yet.

time for a two bucket two car shampoo wash. Blue in the bucket, red in the gun lol.

I like drying most surfaces with the towels so I can inspect the paint as I go. I planned to just use the sidekick for now to blow out the water that gets trapped in the mirrors ect. My dually with tow mirrors will drip water out from behind them for a whole day when drying with just a towel. Those water marks down the doors drive me nuts haha.

goheels, I ordered a sidekick yesterday. Depending how I like it I might also order a master blaster. I own a nice little fleet of cars so saving some time and towels would be awesome.
-
I thought they offered one that was discontinued after feedback.
-
Awesome, thanks for the knowledge!
-
Other than the color what is the difference between the two?
Its obvious the waterless towel is designed to be used with the waterless wash but they both have the waffle weave and both dry the car.
Is their a size difference? can they be used in place of each other? 1 GW is $25 and 2 waterless towels are $17.
Thanks and sorry if its a stupid question.

Screw the car, nice house!!

I have had a million and one questions over the last few weeks. Dylan, Ashley and Matt have all helped me and been awesome.

I rewashed them in a bucket of APC and water to get rid of the stink from not dying fast enough. Then I squeezed as much water as I could out and left them sitting on grit guards on my work bench. We will see how long they take to dry on the grit guard.
