  1. Enjoy your new Colorado. I had a 2015 for a while before trading it in on my gmc sierra. They are very nice trucks. Not sure if you plan to tow much with it, but I must say that little truck is a pull SOB. I pulled quit a bit with mine and it did great. Also, I believed someone asked if the frames on the Colorado is coated in the tacky "wax" like product that has came on the full size trucks for years, the frames on the Colorado's, at least my 2015 was not coated, just painted.
  2. Wow that mustang is beautiful, and I am not even a big fan of mustangs. Awsome work!
  3. 3m makes a tool called an eraser wheel. It attaches to your drill. We use to use them in the body shop to remove pin stripe and whatnot. I know oreilly auto parts sold them. I would give that a try.
  4. Well being here in Texas, I don't handle cold weather very well. Also, I don't have a garage so im stuck doing it outside. Typically if its 45 degrees and higher I could handle it.
  5. Yep, I to also do the same thing. I have always been a "clean freak" with my vehicles, even before I knew how to properly detail, but I would still constantly keep them clean and care for them the best I possibly could with what experience I had at the time. When I worked at a dealership as a tech I would have to pull vehicles in and out of the shop and several times a day I would get into a customers vehicle and I would just be in disgust either at all the trash inside, or the fact there was probably a half an inch of dust on everything, except on the gauge cluster on the fuel gauge and odometer where they took their finger and cleaned it off just enough to see it. I also catch myself checking out vehicles passing me while driving down the road and noticing all the swirls and scratches when the sun hits it. Cant believe people would spend the amount of money they do on these vehicles and allow them to look the way they do.
  6. I am also going to agree with goo gone. I have used it many times and always had great results.
  7. Welcome! Man that turned out awesome. Also one of my favorite body styles of the chevy. Really makes me want to order my Port Cable and do some paint correction on mine. I cant get over how good that looks. Great job sir.
  8. False, still to cold here in Texas for me to wear shorts. The next person is a GM fan/owner?
  9. I will say when I worked at a dealership we had a few minis in that were low miles (50-70k) miles that needed motors. I've never heard great things about them from some of the top techs at the shop I worked at either. I would also recommend the cruze, especially the diesel cruze. If your looking into imports I would recommend honda.
  10. Thanks everyone. I've been following for sometime. I use to watch the YouTube vids along with junkmans vids years ago. Not sure why it took me so long to actually purchase some product but I've always been a fan. Can't wait to try it out. Due to the weather and me not having a garage I'll deal with the paint correction come spring when it warms up. Ordered the interior detailer kit along with all purpose spray, wheel cleaner, vrt, and under carriage spray and some towels. By the way, I drive a 13' gmc sierra Texas edition, bright red, full of swirls and light scratches lol.
  11. Hey guys/gals. Looking forward to receiving my first order of adams products. Not new to detailing, but new to adams products. Looking forward to learning and becoming more involved in this great community.
