I think what I'll try is do the whole car one step af a time and see how it does. It sounds like the better option to me especially not having to change pads all he time

About to break out my SK on my dads car (which is black) and I'm on the fence about this.... should I do the whole car once around using each correcting step at a time or do each panel at a time but do all steps together? Just something to think about lol

Been messing with these for awhile. Started by cleaning and claying the headlights then followed the step by step process with the headlight kit and there's still some "stuff" leftover. I know it's not on the inside because it still has a texture. Don't know if I need to use sandpaper?

All great Input guys thank you!!! These marks happen to be on the rear end right under the deck lid. I kinda figured I would have to fill it in with paint but was hoping it didn't get to that point. I'll have to order a paint pen from my dealer

Been trying to work out these marks for awhile now after getting my headlight kit and for some reason they're just not coming out. Granted they are a lot better compared to when I started but this is the best I can get. Any ideas? Thanks

So my dad owns a food trailer that he drives around almost everyday and he's gotten a few scratches and scuffs along the way. I wanna try and get them out but I'm not sure what to do considering it's not a clear coat. I'm not even 100% sure it's true paint or not. I know it's not vinyl but he just said it was "sheet metal with color over it" maybe somebody can help me out? Any help appreciated

I never used a pressure washer. The spots were there even before I washed the car

Oh but to answer your question it felt like it dented in when I ran my finger over it.

After washing my dads car this morning I noticed these little defects on the hood and a couple more throughout the car. Looks like burn spots or even clear coat damage, never seen it before. What should I try? Also looking for some Adams remedies for headlight restoration! Thanks!

They're glossy stripes. I'm gonna try the correcting polish with the SK tomorrow

I'm sure this has already been posted numerous times and I've seen the video that everyone always refers me to but it just seems like nothing is working for me. Granted it is a couple years old but shouldn't be looking like this in my opinion (sorry no pictures at time of posting). It's gloss black vinyl all over my roof and spoiler including stripes on hood and trunk. I've heard some fheories about using the swirl killer to buff/polish like you would paint but I don't know what products or pads to use. I have tried using brilliant glaze but only hand applications thus far and no such luck. Just wanted to see if there's any hope for me if anybody can give any input haha I'll try and post pictures tomorrow

Hey guys! I finally got around to using my SK for the first time yesterday and I have to say it came out incredibly awesome! My guinea pig was my moms black car, I always like to start off with the most difficult that way everything else is downhill imo. I tried to listen to what everybody was saying and take my time and keep the pad flat and I think I did a pretty decent job. I looked around the entire car in the sun and with a light and couldn't find any marks or scratches after. Took me a solid 9-10 hours from wash start to wax finish and was well worth it. Too bad I don't have any finishing polish!

California definitely doesn't see hotter summers like some other states do but they can sometimes get pretty brutal especially in the garage where most adams products are stored(I'm assuming) and I just had a thought about possibly refrigerating them to prevent spoiling, losing potency or even evaporating. Just wondering if anybody else has had this thought before or even if this thread has been opened before

Once the weather stays sunny out here in cali I'm gonna start practicing on my white car and my moms horribly scratched black car. I think for hers I'll definitely need heavy correcting compound with the microfiber pad to start with

Just received my swirl killer today and super stoked! I've watched all the videos numerous times but I'm still nervous about really polishing my first time. Really the main reason I'm here is to see what advice and/or tips veteran polishers can give me to help me get started! I picked up the basic kit that came with the compound and correcting polish along with the corresponding pads (will be ordering the finishing polish soon). Anyway, super thankful for whatever my fellow Adam followers give me!

One is a stripe. The other is a spoiler wrapped in the same exact vinyl

I just got back from vacation to find some bird droppings on my car so I gave it a good wash. After I finished I noticed these spots remaining from bird droppings and fried everything to get them off (APC, hand polish, etc) but nothing worked. Anybody know what I can do? The hard part is its on gloss vinyl not paint so I'm afraid to clay bar it

The thing that sucks is i've used VRT before and it always leaves the surface super greasy and smears a lot too, plus it takes down the shine too and looks more matte

So today I got a little fancy with my camaro and added some gloss vinyl underneath the headlights, or eyes if you will, and with it being new vinyl it's fresh and dark but now it's making the vinyl stripes and other lower piece I have stick out like a sore thumb is there anything in the Adams lineup that can help them look brand new and dark and fresh again? I glaze and wax them regularly
