  1. After cleaning and shining my wheels and tires I paid some attention to my vinyl. First wiping them down with some detail spray but I didn't like how it came out so I tried APC instead and they wiped totally clean with no grease marks or anything. Then after that I applied some of my new favorite product, Brilliant Glaze!!!! This stuff is the bomb I think I'm gonna stay more towards this stuff followed by a wax vs the VRT. Don't get me wrong I love that stuff it's just a little too matte for my taste (especially for my gloss stripes) and no matter what I do they come out greasy. After my next wash I'm gonna wax the vinyl with Buttery Wax and see how that comes out ???????????????????????? I'll try and post some pics
  2. So you would recommend this after going over with a clay bar? Also Chris, would you recommend claying my wheels and then glazing, sealing and waxing them? Thank you
  3. so what you guys are saying is, Clay LPS Wax Glaze It makes sense to me to have the best protection layer as a base then top it off with a wax for more protection and shine then finish it with a glaze. Tomorrow I'm spending the day giving my car a full detail so i just wanted some insight! Would any of you recommend sealing, waxing, or glazing my wheels? they're powdercoated gloss black
  4. Ahhh I see. Well when I apply it I'll try to rub my car less frequently hahaha it'll be hard after a nice clay though
  5. Okay SO skimming through most of this thread without reading everything, what would be the best step by step process you guys recommend? Let's say after a nice clay bar detail 1. LPS 2. Wax 3. LPS 4. Brilliant Glaze ???
  6. I know tell me about it! Originally I wasn't gonna settle for anything less but the dealer offered me $4,000 off the price so I guess money does talk lol
  7. Here's my white knight as requested 2015 Camaro SS Mostly stock (straight piped and CAI) only ever used Adams products ????????
  8. Makes a lot of sense man thanks for the input! This morning I took a microfiber towel with some all purpose cleaner to the stripes and that did the trick. Streaks and smudges are gone but so is the VRT (swirl marks are back) so this time I'm gonna probably do it at night so it's cooler out plus rub it in way better and buff it better and probably try diluting first like you said!
  9. Hey Chris, do you have any suggestions how to get rid of the greasy, waxy look on the stripes? any help would be appreciated man!
  10. I'm not usually this happy on a Tuesday afternoon at work but Adams always puts a smile on my face! Finally tried out some super VRT on my stripes and they came out almost perfect! They did exactly what I wanted them to, got rid of the swirl marks and minor scratches and scuffs. The finish was dry to the touch but the surface looked really greasy and even had a few smudges and streaks. I took some pictures but it's hard to tell. Basically I wiped down the stripes first with detail spray then applied the VRT with a block sponge and wiped off the residue with a glass towel (only one I had with me). Anything you guys can help out with that has to do with getting a nice clean finish altogether?? Jam on
  11. I know I'm kinda late to the party but I saw this thread before I posted my own! I use deep wheel cleaner and hrs absolutely incredible but I was wondering if the LPS is recommended on powder coated GLOSS black wheels?
  12. Definitely sounds lies the route im going with, how's the buttery wax rank? It seems like it's the easiest to apply out of all of them. Plus, spending the money on patriot or Americana on a daily driver seems a little pointless to me
  13. So I'm in the market for a good wax/sealant but of course I annoy the hell out of everybody with my million and one questions so if you guys are willing to read what I have to say then any help will be much appreciated!!! So I'm getting ready to clay bar my car In a week or so and I'm looking to replace my turtle wax ice liquid wax for something Adams obviously but there's just SO MANY products to choose from (not a bad thing). My biggest questions are, 1) what's the difference between a wax and a sealant and 2) which one should I use Recently when Adams had their mystery box sale I bought one and got a bottle of paint sealant but I've heard of other products like buttery wax and brilliant glaze and what not. To clarify a few things I only have one car it's my daily driver obviously and kept outside 24/7 and I wash my car about 1-2 times a week. At the end of the day I'm looking for something that's gonna protect my paint, keep it looking clean and new, and lastly something with a good amount of shine!!!! Like I said any amount of feedback is appreciated;) thanks! Jam on
  14. Hey guys! Been a fan of Adams products for several months now and just recently found out about the forums so thought I'd sign up for some better insight and my love for these products! I drive a 2015 Chevy Camaro SS and only ever used Adams products. By far my favorites are detail spray, deep wheel cleaner and, total interior detailer along with the great white microfiber towels those are amazing. Next I'm on the hunt for some stuff for my vinyl stripes mostly to fix some scuffs/scratches/swirl marks so if you guys got any info hit me up! Anyway, it's great to be here and I'm excited to be apart of the Adams family and hopefully meet some cool new people Jam on
