Whats up guys, I recently got a huge order in because my arsenal was running low, and gave the truck a good washing. Forget to take pics during the wash but me and my buddy went for a drive later on and took some good pics while we were out. First I washed the truck using the new red foam wash pad for the top half of the truck and then used a normal wash pad for the bottom portion. I must say i love the red wash pad and it will defiantly be used much more often now. Then I did the wheels and tires and used the undercarriage spray and tire shine for the first time. I had always used VRT for my wheel liners and and tires, but decided i wanted a more shiny finish. I love both products and think it looks much better than just VRT. Guard and glossed the wheels as well. I had recently done a full detail before the truck was put in storage for winter so I decided i was just going to do a H20 guard and gloss seal. Sealed it up and got it mostly dry then put my new sidekick to work! First time using it and I must say I am more than happy with it. Speeds things up big time, i just keep a double soft handy so when I blow all the water out i just wipe it off right there. Then I went ahead and cleaned and sealed all the glass on the truck, I bought the glass cleaning and sealing kit and really wanted to get it done. Loved the new visco clay and got everything cleaned and sealed. Its amazing how theres no finger prints after sealing it. Then I went around and VRT the mirrors, door handles, and bumper covers. I also put to use my new In and Out spray which I have never used. Makes getting the grill inserts much easier. Last I cleaned up the interior and gave it a good scrubbing with the brush and leather and interior cleaner. Then wiped down all the windows and conditioned everything. Finally I pulled it out into the sun and gave it a once over with some detail spray and a double soft on any spots i thought needed it. I am never disappointed with these products and with my truck having some imperfections, scratches, and dents, they still make everything look brand new. Heres some pics from the Drive down some of PA's beautiful back roads a few hours after I had washed it. And I also couldn't help but have a little fun!

Iv seen people take the 4 inch backing plate with an orange pad and a cordless drill, and some correcting polish to get the water spots off the glass. Personally I have never done it myself but will be soon because i noticed my back windshield is covered in water spots. But like Dan said, defiantly got to be careful with the pressure and the Pad temperature. Let us know what works!

and i can defiantly see not using it as much when you really only waterless wash, but with my truck being my everyday driver and has a big offset that throws dirt halfway up the doors, I two bucket wash very, very frequently

Yeah thats what I was looking for, something to use for the lug nuts, Heads and tail lights, and underneath the mirrors. Nothing worse than spending a few hours on your truck and then pulling out and driving down the road just to get a bunch of streak marks and water flung around from the lug nuts. I know iv read plenty of threads that say people who never justified dropping 400 for the master blaster, but when they do they wished they did it a long time ago, I'm just not ready to do that yet haha.

sweet, I had a feeling that was going to be the answer! I haven't justified dropping the money for the master blaster (yet) and wanted something in-between for the time being. Thanks for the answers, I'm going to put the order in real soon.

Whats up Guys, Was just wondering for some input on the sidekick, I always glanced over it but now with the sale going on the price isn't really that bad, There are parts of my truck like the grill inserts, engine bay, and other small places that can hold water and there really a pain in the butt to get dry. Im sure there is a thread just like this on here but just wanted some feedback. Anything would be much appreciated! Jack

I miss the decal logo! The one that spelt out adams and you could get it in a few different colors. Should of gotten it when it was for sale! I do love the new logos though.

Was wondering after I scrub the door panels/ dash/ and other plastic areas in the truck with the interior brush and leather and interior cleaner, Does the leather conditioner add protection/ darkness? Any help would be great! thanks guys. Truck is an 06 Ram by the way

yeah what he said^ Paint correcting polish and 4 inch orange foam pad with a cordless drill. Did it on all the glass on my truck and it came out awesome.

Thanks guys Ill give the diluted wheel cleaner a try first, but if not ill do the WD. I knew that would probably work but i wanted to know if there was an "adams" way of going about it before i went with the WD.

Whats up guys I have an 06 Ram and my tires are a little offset, they stick out about 2 and half inches on each side. The other day I was with my buddy and I laid a set of 11's down my block. A nice smokey one! I was washing my truck yesterday though and theres a bunch of burnt rubber specs on the bottom part of my fenders, and also on my rear bumper. Iv tried everything to try and get it off, clay bar, all purpose cleaner, and just normal car shampoo. Does anyone have any ideas or techniques that would get this off? I don't want to damage the paint with anything else. Any help is much appreciated!
