  1. Welcome. I'm of the opinion that the condition of your paintwork determines the level of aesthetics. The more clarity your clear coat possesses, the better your car will look. Adams provides a wide range of products to cover all of your detailing needs. Furthermore, this forum is saturated with information from past and present and the members are extremely polite, courteous and helpful.

I have just started a complete detail on my 2007 Corvette.  I washed it with the Strip Wash dried and then clayed the car.  Next I used the paint correction polish to fix a few spots that had some small swirls.  My next step is to a full Finishing Polish on the car.  I normally will then apply a coat of Brilliant Glaze followed by Amaricana.  My question is should I use Paint sealant on the car at all and if so before the glaze and wax or after the glaze and wax?

Using PS first will give it the most longevity. You can then layer BG and Americana or vice versa. This past weekend I did the precise procedure you've started on my daily driver and obtained phenomenal results. PS, BG, then Americana. If your vehicle doesn't travel in dodgy weather, I wouldn't bother with PS.

Chances are if you used a carnuba wax it has worn off already, if you used paint sealant it may be going strong still. It depends a lot on maintenance routine as well. If you want to be safe you could always wash first with strip was or an equivalent type of product.

:iagree:. You should be able to tell once you pre-rinse the car before washing. Check the water behavior, and if it isn't beading and sheeting then your previous layer of protection is gone. Either way, it's always nice to start with a clean slate if you're uncertain.
