  1. Hey, everyone!

So quick question about here living in Florida, I always get a good layer of dust and such for a while when a day or so passes by after washing my car.

With Adams great amount of products, what would be the best way to prevent the build up of dust.

I do have the waterless wash that I mainly use before some local shows to wipe it all off, but wondering to preventing the best way.

    Thanks !!

  2. If you mean foam gun that works with the garden hose I use 4oz for the full canister and can suds my truck down three times. Once good let sit a bit and rinse. Foam again then two bucket and then a light foam with what is left to reactivate any suds that started to dry and final rinse. I use the tip that allows slower solution use of the two. I think it's the yellow-green one.

sweet thanks, yeah the foam gun to the garden hose yes. I just wanted some thoughts, would it work just as well with the wash and wax?

  3. Hey guys ! So I just bought a foam gun, and I'm wondering what is your ratio of soap and water you use, and also the setting you have it on ? Also some pics would be amazing !! I will use it sometime this week, but some tips excluding from the YouTube video cause I've seen it easily x6 times haha,

    Thanks guys !!

  4. Hey, everybody ! So I just got lots of new products in my Adams arsenal. When I wash my car with the new products I am thinking of an order as such:

Strip, wheel cleaner, tire and rubber cleaner, wash&wax, h20 g&g, revive hand polish, butter wax and then I finish off with brilliant glaze. I do have In and Out spray and VRT but I'll use those last as for details only. Please let me know so I don't mess up the processes of getting beautiful outcome, Thanks !!

  5. 1/4" quick connect are very popular for nozzles and is what is on the Adams Foam Canon. M22 threaded connections are also somewhat popular. However, MANY consumer pressure washers have various proprietary quick connects...and they will need some form of an adapter. It is really useful to stay with some form of quick connect so nozzles and attachments like the foam canon can be easily swapped.

perfect thank you, when I go for the purchase I'll make sure it has it.

  6. Welcome Andrew, If you haven't already tried H20 G+G try it, It is my go to product for a great shine   :welcomebanner:

Welcome from the Tampa area. I used H20 G&G for the first time today on my wifes Camry and it is awesome!

welcome to the forums, nice looking ride.

Thanks everybody !! For those here in Orlando and Tampa, yall going to Winterfest ???

  7. I have a greenworks 2000 and Adams foam canon. It works great. A little cheap feeling but. It's light, I can carry it around easily and it's not gas!!! I can't stand hearing a gas pressure washer run while I use it. Just a personal issue I have lol. The greenworks kicks on while you're washing and goes off when you release the trigger. And it's pretty quiet.

what if I was to get one with 1600-1800psi ?just not as much foam ?

  8. I would second these two. Also remember to use the Forum discount for 10% off the code is "SHINEON" no quotes. So it would be $179.99 shipped after code for the Essential Kit.  But right now they even have a 15% code. "BF16" free shipping over $50.00 so it would be $169.00

The "daily driver detail kit" is a good start. But if you could stretch a little and add an extra $50, the "essentials detail kit" is the perfect start.

Car Shampoo (or Wash and Wax) to wash with and a mitt.  Clay bar and Detail Spray to get a better beginning to your detail ( you can get it separate or in a kit) if you're doing it by hand.......get some Revive Polish, add some Brilliant Glaze and if you can, bump your Buttery Wax up to a small Americana Wax (lasts longer and better protection).

Sweet thanks so much for your guys inputs, waiting for my mystery boxes to see where to go from there !

  9. Welcome Andrew.

Lots of good choice for you here. There's several good ways to go, I'll toss one your way.

Revive Polish, a really great polish for bringing up the shine.

H2O Gloss & Guard, there aren't many easier ways to get a great shine and protection.

Wash & Wax, you have to wash the car, might as well extend the protection too.

VRT, protect your Vinyl & Trim

Glass Cleaner & at least two towels, can't have a clean car without great glass.

A great white Drying Towel, best way to towel dry a car

Detail Spray, protect and enhance the shine.

That should be under budget, and be part of a great starter kit.

Thank you so much Bruce !! Love the suggestions !

    Bruce
