  1. Does the SK have good paint correction on black cars, because I was looking into the exact same two machines and I want to make sure that it'll do a good job on black paint. It's a Dodge if that makes any difference. Anyone have any experience?

Even the Porter Cable along with Adams paint correction products will do amazing things to your Black Dodge as it did to my black Ram. The SK is even better than the Porter Cable! No risk...

My 2012 Black Ram was a mess when I bought it. Tons of swirls from auto car washes and carelessness. 6 hrs with Adams products made it look absolutely amazing. Biggest thing is, take your time. Don't be rushed. One panel at a time.

  2. I just got 10 of the orange detailing towels and used one right out of the bag on a freshly washed and G&Ged black truck. Noticed a few spots that needed to be touched up so a light spray of detailer and wiped the finish. The towel felt grabby or like it was dragging. I then noticed it was leaving really fine fibers behind on the finish, should I wash all of these first? This never happened with any of the other towels, (Grey edgeless or single/double/triples). Thoughts?

  3. Thanks for sharing, definitely need to see pics!

Was this your first time using a polisher?

Sorry, I didn't have the forethought to take before and after pictures.

No it's not my first time with a polisher. Several years ago I used a buffer to finish a new clear coat paint. This system is spectacular!

  4. While shopping for a used truck, my wife saw a Black 2012 Ram 2500 diesel crew cab. She loved it, I love everything except the color. Not because I don't like black vehicles, I think they look great when clean, but this truck had obviously taken through automatic car washes often. It was swirled up really bad, and for someone who is a little OCD about their vehicles it wouldn't be good to own it. We ended up buying it and I tried lots of auto store products to try and clean up the finish. Clay bars, waxes, etc always to my complete dissatisfaction. I began shopping for a brand new truck in a different color (silver, white,) but was looking to take at least a 10k hit on the deal.

A friend of mine has a black vehicle and it always looks flawless. He recommended Adams Polishes to me. One phone call to an extremely knowledgeable and helpful gentleman, and a box of products were on the way. A few days later a box arrived containing a polisher, pads, correcting polish, finishing polish, sealer, detailer, cloths, etc and I went to work. I watched Adams how-to videos, and went to work. Wash, clay bar, polish, and seal and after 6 hours, the paint looked AMAZING! There were some pretty deep scratches in the paint in places and about 95% are completely gone, with only the deepest ones still visible but just barely. I was completely blown away on how well each product worked. This truck is big, I took my time and really actually enjoyed the process seeing this truck go from something I wasn't really happy with and ready to sell, to a vehicle that looks better than new.

Now I make excuses to walk out to the garage and run the back of my hand across the glossy, smooth finish. I can't express how happy I am with Adams Products! Since the comeback of the Rams finish, I've bought a complete kit for my son to turn him loose on his black WRX. (He's going to love his Christmas present).

THANK YOU ADAMS POLISHES! Your products and people are fantastic! You saved me $10,000!!!
