  1. Thanks Paycheck! Aww from Downers...things have certainly changed for Downtown DG. They have Friday night cruise nights...you would not believe the crowds and rides!!
  2. Yes that was my Don't mess with me or my ride look! Hahaha Yeah see what I'm up against? That would be a horrible battle so it's on my list for next month. And thx guys...the ride is a lot of fun for me. But now that my huge project is over....I'm kind of sad! It's like...Ok NOW WHAT? I can't DO anything else for a while LOL.
  3. Well I just bought my storage containers...and cleaned my old micro. Now just wait for the new ones.
  4. Well guys and gals...and that's correct I am not a "him" LOL . AND BTW it is great that women who LOVE their muscle cars, are FINALLY accepted in the Good Ole Boys club. It's been difficult as a teenager having an SS 396 as MY car...way back when. So it's good for all of us. We've finally had a break from the monsoons and real Summer is here...cept rain tonight. I finally have a few pics I'll post up. I just tried the VRT on the tires..pretty cool that it is thick and not all running like others. Like that! Here we are before I started the "remodel" project for MM & FF Dec 2007 Ladies Edition representing Chicago. Those vinyl stripes just got nasty. So glad I was able to splurge and get it done right. Here are the rims that I will need that stick on, next month. Just removed the old vinyl striping and painted under clear coats, added Cervinis body parts and everything is lined up perfectly! I know..I need brakes and lower that thing but unless I marry a rich gear head guy...I have to wait for more goodies and pay off what I just invested. LOL I am broke... OH BTW this tire did not have VRT on it, didn't have it yet. Pretty shiny, clayed the sides and polished. <new paint can't do hood, trunk and bumpers yet. But I am very proud of how Natasha turned out. She's unique with this parchment color scheme and its a love it or hate it. Actually..my painter did NOT like my choices...but I think I clearly have better taste. Top Up Top Down:)
  5. Hope so..I am now signed up for emails so I should NOT miss it. I almost ordered then deleted all because it is a Holiday and $$$ savings would help. I have some of the little samples to try out, but still have to wait for the hood and trunk/bumpers to cure..new paint only 2 weeks old.
  6. Well I am loving the see through containers...I have a weekend project. AND I will be replacing all my other brand microfibers with Adams. Are we going to have a July 4th sale???? I'm waiting for one....
  7. Hi and Welcome from Glen Ellyn! I'm actually new to Adams
  8. Well for the first time in over 20 years I have bought new chrome rims. I can have chrome now that my Stang is retired from daily driving. I'm watching and reading this. Huge concern about getting in behind the face rim, I have a 10 spoke, riveted Enkei LF-10. So....I'm thinking about getting the products tire brush boar hair brush and the cleaner. BUT..for sure, you can use the boar hair brush without scratching?? REALLY??? and what about this stick? I do have a cordless drill. Seems like everyone loves this thing and my thought is to keep these rims spotless. So talk to me people. Oh and what about the chrome polish after cleaning?
  9. Are you kidding??? OMG I just went to the site..I didn't realize it was next weekend. I have 2 car shows to do....however MAYBE I can get out there Friday night. I want to see a clinic. Times for each clinic? Where is your booth, and are you inside or out? I definately want to try and squeeze this in. Hey want to work on a convertible top? Hahahaha
  10. Thank you! Funny..I was just going to order products BUT then I saw FORUM! LOL Who knew? I just got the car back from the painters a week ago, it has been raining pretty much every day cept this weekend looks fabulous!! I'll get some good pics of Natasha and post her up after I get the Enkei's on Monday. I appreciate the welcome-thx
  11. Seriously, if someone could show me how to use one and practice, I'd get one. Maybe after car show season....
  12. Man...I just saw that thread..... It looked just like Brillo was used on her.....how could anyone get their car that scratched up? Fortunately I have no issues like that, LOL however I really wish there was something to get my top cleaner. My detailer used a "M" product number 40,, to clean the vert..it cleaned some but not all of the discoloration. I have a parchment top I'll have to post some pics..this is the 1st weekend it hasn't rained...been raining a ton in Chicago-building an Ark in the garage. Thanks for the welcome
  13. Hi! I'm from Glen Ellyn. I know where you're at. FYI-There is a twilight car show tomorrow in West Chicago - Augustinos SW corner of Rt 64 and Rt 59 all make. Spent all day working on whatever parts of Stang that wasn't fresh paint, noticed my clay bar was real low. Remembering Adams is a sponsor..I just thought I'd start trying this product line. How long have you been using these products? And I'm going to guess you luv em....tell me in your opinion, why they are better? I would love to get the power polisher but very afraid I'd wreck my paint.
  14. This was a good thread for me, just removed vinyl stripes and had them painted under clear. My painter gave me that Wizard product to use, that was just mentioned above.
  15. I first heard about these products on a Stang website, sponsor. So I looked around this site, found the videos and even learned a thing or two from watching. I figured if I learned something I should at least give this detailer a try. Typically I have products my own detailer sells, but I wanted to see what all the hype is about and my stash was getting a bit low. My car - Natasha,, LOL...participates in lots of shows and has retired from being a daily driver. We got some body mods, new painted stripes. I use my Escape for a daily driver and I experiment with products on that ride. Can't wait to get my mini trial sizes and Adams clay bar. When I watched the video I was unaware of different grades of clay bar. Now if I can just get my convertible top really perfect again. My detailer could not get all of the discoloration out. It's not horrible, but it's not perfect either. So I will take off and see whats on the Forum threads.
