That's safe on the paint? I was worried the would be too harsh.

The going to remove the Subaru Badge of Ownship on my car and move them to another location. They use a 3M adhesive to hold them on. What the safest way to remove any adhesive residue?

It's possible that the clay mitt, or any clay for that matter, will cause light swirling or marring that may need to be machine polished out. For the record, I didn't notice any marring when I used the mitt. However, there's many variables in play, especially if your black paint is on the softer side.
I'm not sure how the Subaru paints are for hardness. I know the paint on my Crosstrek seems to chip a lot easier than I think it should. Maybe I'll test it it on our 2005 Tahoe to see what happens before I touch our good cars.

I'm pretty new to detailing, so I'm a little confused on the marring that the mitt is going to cause. Is it going to be to the level that you would have to machine polish them out? Or is is a rub down with the Revive and they're gone? My wife's car is black and I don't want to add noticeable scratching and I don't own a polisher as of yet.

I'm having the same issue with the interior of my wife's Legacy. lol. I don't mind doing the exterior, but I'm refuse to touch the inside. I'm almost to the point of refusing to ride in it. Good luck on holding out!

Thanks everyone for the advice. Looks like a bottle of Waterless Wash and a bottle for dilution will be in my next order.

What's the best way to remove bugs without destroying your paint, it's bad in PA right now so sandblasting crossed my mind. Is All Purpose Cleaner to harsh? Is Detail Spray not strong enough? Most of the blue on the front my car is now Bug Gut Brown and that was after 2 days of commuting back and forth to work.

As others have chimed in, 32oz bottles have been removed from the site for purchase for now, with the exception of Microfiber Revitalizer & Brightener (it needs to be kept in HDPE bottles, and I'm not sure if we will move it down to the 16oz HDPE bottle that we use for Strip Wash). Slower sales, warehouse spacing in the pick lines, slight bottle warping issues with some chemicals, and other factors led to the decision of removing this size option for the time being.
I apologize for not posting an announcement about this last week, we've all been incredibly busy wrapping up some projects and prepping for Barrett-Jackson support in Florida in a few weeks!
Big thanks to Dave for stepping up to help anyone that is still hoping to purchase some 32oz bottles!
So is Adams then actively searching for a new source for bottles in the 32oz. size or does this look to be a permanent phase out of this size?

Any news on this coming out? I was going to start taking notes form the videos, but this would make sure that all my info was correct.

Is there any way to get the Tire Shine to stick longer? Seems like as soon as water hits it its gone. I'm one of the oddballs that like the look of a shiny tire.

As my number of products grow and are starting to get disorganized I decided to make a cart like a few I've seen in the forums. The question I have is what are diameters for the bottoms of the Sidekick, Aerosol Glass cleaner, and 32oz. bottles. I want to make to top now and have it ready when I add other products that I don't have currently.

Thank you all for the input. What you've mentioned makes sense. Looks like I'll be adding more to my Wish List.

As I'm getting ready to start my spring detailing, and I've been out of car detailing for a number of years, I've been watching a lot of the Adams videos on YouTube. The question I have is what is the advantage to using a blower of any type versus just vacuuming out your interior?

Thank you all for the welcome. I'm sure I'll be on here a lot. I used to have a show truck that I sold in 2006. So much has changed in the detailing world since then, so there is a lot for me to learn on the forums. My wife already makes fun of me for sitting and watching all the Adams videos on YouTube, but I'm sure she'll be happy when her car looks better than brand new.

Hi from Johnstown. Not complaining about the PA weather this year at all! So far.
Welcome to the forum.
We have two Subarus and a 4wd Tahoe, if the weather is crappy I want snow. lol

I heard about Adams through a co-worker that had a truck he showed. I wasted a lot of time looking at the products but never ordered until recently. After a wash and wax with some cheap junk that we got at Walmart I hated how that paint on my car looked and felt. I watch for them to have a big sale and jumped on it. Needless to say I've dropped more money than I intended but I have no doubt it will be worth it. PA weather hasn't allowed me to get out all the stuff I bought, but I was able to get out the car shampoo and detailing spray last week and wash off the grime. Just those two products alone made the Hyperblue paint on my Crosstrek really pop. Can't wait for the weather to break then I'm tackling our neglected black '05 Tahoe and my wife's black Subaru Legacy. Time to bring these cars up to better than showroom finish!
