  1. Luckily I got some of that on an Adams mystery box. It definitely is going to be put the test tonight. After gallons of steam cleaning and vacuuming.
  2. Edit - added day 1 Interiors video. Edit 2 - added day 2 wash and clay video. Edit 3 - added day 3 Compound and Polish and a little wet sanding So I have a friend that used to drive a 2016 Toyota Corolla but that car is a cube now. She now has this 2010 Toyota Camry that is a family car in which the last driver smoked. I have the car all week and my goal is to spend all evenings with it to see how close I can get it to a new driving experience. Can I get her to enjoy driving the Camry more than the Corolla? That's my goal. Evening 1 - interior steam on soft surfaces and Adams leather and interior cleaner on hard surfaces and vacuum then Adams leather conditioner Evening 2 - Adams strip wash and clay and engine bay cleaning with Adams APC Evening 3 - Compound and maybe a few spots of wet sanding Evening 4 - Adams paint correction, sealant and wax Intro Video: Evening 1 Interiors: Evening 2 wash and clay Evening 3 Compound and Polish and a little wet sand
  3. True - I did wash a friends car that was just an outside non paint sealed car - I think the towel would have been faster.
  4. You're kidding?! I've done the mystery box once. Are you telling me you bought a mystery box and a master blaster showed up??@?@@?!
  5. Today I did my SQ5 (full size CUV) this morning and I just finished up my Q7 (full size SUV) - I am guessing about 15-20 minutes per car? Today I had the epiphany of blowing out the door sills last instead of grabbing a towel. That worked even better than a towel since it blew out water I've never gotten before with a towel.
  6. I washed two cars today, both paint sealed and waxed. I tried backing up a bit but once I stopped thinking about it I was right back on top of the paint - I guess that's just the way it is for me.
  7. Hi, I made this video because I really was surprised at whole useful and beneficial this thing turned out. When I had mine on order from Adams to be delivered here to Georgia I coincidentally was in Denver and stopped by Adams to say hello. Ryan gave me a tour, and in the back I actually got to try out the Master Blaster Revolution before I ever even saw mine. When I turned it on and so how much power it had, I already knew then I was going to love it. Prior to that I was using my air compressor to blast out air in trim, grill, wheels etc, but this is a whole different level. Thanks for watching.
  8. My specific hose is described as (I do not know if Amazon links are allowed here - if not mods delete the link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N1XXFD2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Good Year 12630 Rubber Pressure Washer Hose, 50' x 3/8", Yellow The water hose quick connects, lead hose and Y fitting are all off the shelf at my local Home Depot from the water hose aisle Credit where credit it due - the many, many links on this video description from 9th Gen Accord are where I started
  9. Greetings, race fans - here's a video of my pressure washer setup as inspired by 9th Gen Accord and other youtube channels
  10. Yep - Tires and Wheels were not in this video and previously detailed - Adams All Purpose Cleaner on the tires and Adams Wheel Cleaner on the painted wheels. For this car, the wheel wells are those weird felt looking things so I just spray them off.
  11. request to change forum username from former name to Greg from GA
  12. This is very true. I had to stop and think about how I ended up here. The Master Blaster is a new addition for me. I used to spray Adams detail spray on my wet car and dry it from there. I guess my using a drying towel is carry over from that. However I completely understand what you are saying. I have Adams double and triple softs for polishing that I'll start using for this step. Thanks for pointing that out as it never really occurred to me and once I read it I totally agree.
  13. I saw Larry from AMMO NYC mention those gloves on his detailing videos so I tried them out. I am pretty klutzy and afraid to drop stuff on my car, especially in the suds. The gloves are described as: Max Fit polymer coating with Never Slip technology Superior dexterity and incredible breathability Great for plumbing, oil changes & wet surface jobs I agree that they provide a great grip. They are a rubber coated mesh so they are not going to do much from chemicals coming in from the back part of the glove. In addition to being a klutz, I too seem to bleed every time I work on something. This definitely helped minimize that.
  14. Okay, hold on. My cannon bottle has unit markings on it that I just assumed were ml and oh crap I just checked and they are. You guys did the math but I am not a soap millionaire! To be honest I usually use 800 ml warm water and 200 ml soap but I used extra on the video to make it extra foamy. It comes down to about 8-10 pumps of the Adam's pump mounted on my gallon container. Plus remember the part I do not use from the cannon ends up in the wash pad bucket so no waste. And furthermore, the remaining washpad bucket water is used for wheel and tire bucket for the next wash - circle of life. Edit - /frugalmodeon 1 gallon = 3785 ml thus 200 ml per wash = 18.79 washes / gallon which is $1.67 per wash (assuming 31.50 / gallon which is list - 10%). I can wash proud with that amount of soap.
  15. Thanks for the kind words. Regarding the foam: the pressure waster is 2700 PSI 2.4 GPM - just the Home Depot Homelite model using a Honda GCV 160. I also use a larger 3/8" hose but i do not know if that helps. For the foam cannon, I use 700 ml of warm water and 300 ml of Adams Car Shampoo.
  16. Here's my first atempt at a YouTube video with some some iMovie editing. I am trying to get some use out of the camera equipment I have had lying around. I'd like to get good at it
  17. I am really impressed with how well the Microfiber Revitalizer works on cleaning my microfiber towels. Based on how impressive it cleans and brightens, I was wondering if it had any other more creative uses?
  18. Upgraded my upgraded gun with a swivel. This was after upgrading to a non wand gun and quick connects. By the way, quick connects won't swivel under pressure in my experience which was news to me. Edit - by the way, the smart *** reply here would be "why didn't you add a swivel on the pressure washer side as well ?"
  19. Thanks for the tip; I've never done that before. I actually did attend a citizens fire academy many years ago and (among all the other cool stuff I got to do like make a convertible out of minivan with hydraulic cutters and spreaders in a junkyard) they set some oil on fire for us to extinguish. What I took away from that was that you get so little extinguishing power out of those small extinguishers that they are almost worthless. They were a much a very quick 'one and done' thing. Here I was thinking I had this infinite spray and oh wait it's done!
  20. it was late Friday afternoon and busy busy busy in the warehouse. Neat to see all the huge plastic containers with all the chemicals waiting to be poured into bottles and gallon containers. Very colorful. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend a visit. Coincidentally we went to visit a VW dealership while I was there and they had a display of Adams products too. Neat to see them in the wild instead of in a box on my porch.
  21. I got the new polisher mounting bracket mounted up. Plus I got my new master blaster mounted to the wall as well - the 30' hose is enough to leave the unit mounted on the wall to use for me (I hope - untested that way other than to blow ALL the dust and cobwebs out of my garage. Side note - thanks to Ryan@Adams for the tour of the Adams shop on Friday. I was visiting a friend in Denver and Ryan showed us all around the warehouse and I got to demo a master blaster just as my very own was arriving here back home in Georgia. Glarey photo attached.
  22. Oh man you just rationalized the fact that somehow I ended up with Adams 3 wash pads and 1 Adams wash mitt - 2 still in the plastic. so I will go to single bucket. Thanks!
  23. Sure, thing Mr. Soap Salesman! jk I end up over soaping it anyways just to use up the soap from one cannon full so that should work fine based on my existing product usage - good idea.
  24. So I finally got both of my black cars where I want them paint correction-wise as seen in previous posts. Now that that is all out of the way which of these two washing routines do you think would cause less scratches over time: 1. In Adam's video, he uses the foam gun (I use the cannon in my scenario) and leaves that soap on the vehicle to do his two bucket wash over that saying that gun soap offers more protection for the two bucket wash. 2. My way is to pressure washer remove the cannon soap before doing the two bucket wash. Seems like I am removing the things that would scratch before doing the two bucket wash. In both scenarios, blasted air dry then finish off with drying towels - CAREFULLY! "6 of one, half dozen of the other" or a stronger opinion than that? Not my pic - just added for inspiration
