  1. Hmmm, gotcha. But I always thought everyone said NOT to mix SiO2 with the waxes unless it is the Ceramic Wax.
  2. I like the Aliens and the UFO's, they add culture to the photo. Ha ha.
  3. I can see you now dancing when that day comes. I think I did the same dance. I've been around the world six times and can show you pictures of all kinds of stuff. But hardly any of them are in the United States. So my list is pretty full. First stop, Mount Rushmore. No one knows after that.
  4. Below are a few of the thousands of shots I have from my travels in Iraq. Enjoy! Saddam's Palace in Baghdad Iraq That's me sitting on the Throne!! This is Saddam's Throne in Judgement Hall there in the Palace. Those are his Scud Missiles headed for heaven. Getting ready to extinguish an oil well fire in Southern Iraq close to Basra
  5. Yep. That one is better. I retired in March this year. The ex-wife has me in court still but once that is cleared up, all of these places are on my bucket list.
  6. Thanks Again @Nickfire20. By the way, not sure if that is your Shepard in the little picture, but it is beautiful.
  7. LuckyLefty. Let the shining begin. Nothing wrong with Lefty's.
  8. @Nickfire20 I just applied CSC to my car over the weekend. The plan is to wash it and use Ceramic Waterless Wash as a drying aid weekly. Does the process you mention above apply when using it as a drying aid? (when wiping, always lift your towel, go in straights lines, flip towel after each swipe, never go back and forth)
  9. @RayS It looks great. I agree with the soft paint comment. I had a 2015 RAM 1500 and it was really soft. But it turned out good.
  10. Know the area well. A friend lived in that neck of the woods. Step-Son lives off Semoran and University.
  11. No, I thought I had but didn't. I have pictures of the completed exterior after the detail but not the engine compartment. I didn't clean the interior as it was already in good shape. And now I've traded the Subaru so I don't even have it any more to take a picture. My detail was a little different than others as I had a complete color change vinyl wrap on the car. So there wasn't any paint correction or swirl removal, clay bar or anything fancy. Most of the car already had a Ceramic coating applied but I had to put some new vinyl on the front bumper and had to coat that. Your's turned out real nice.
  12. And like I said earlier, they turned out great. FYI, I was sort of afraid to wash the engine compartment as well. I saw where Adam said in a video that using the Pressure Washer was best as the fine mist of water was better than the deluge from the water hose. So I pressure washed mine. It too came out pretty nice.
  13. YAY!!! I don't understand why they aren't putting them all underground. You'd think they'd get tired of replacing them all the time. The place I built there off Chuluota there in Corner Lake Estates they buried all of the electric lines. I loved it. The Place I built in Manassas VA they also buried the electric but they ran fiber optic to each and every house. That was really nice for TV and Internet connections.
  14. @falcaineer Thanks. I appreciate the stamp of approval from the Master of WHITE even though you are 2,000 miles away and you can't see it in person. I appreciate all of your words of encouragement and tips and help along the way to accomplishing it for the first time. Again, THANKS.
  15. I had an AWD Subaru Forester. Living in Central Florida, I found very little use for it. But no I didn't even ask.
  16. AWESOME write-up and great job. The engine compartment and interior look great. Hmmm, I have a bunch of those pants hangars too. Thanks for the idea. I was also wondering earlier today if I could dilute the VRT for that exact same purpose. Thanks for the confirmation.
  17. That does sound pretty good. I may let the wife convince me every other year to have a glass of wine.
  18. Very good reason. I totally understand. Since all of my windows are factory tinted, I'm pretty sure I won't need to add more tint.
  19. Yes, I used a 3 bucket wash yesterday before using the Surface Prep and Ceramic Spray Coating. With the Ceramic Spray cured overnight, I applied the Ceramic Boost as a topper this morning. I think the towel got too wet and I ended up applying too much on the glass. And I knew better, that's the sad part. But @Nickfire20 said to use CWW and that fixed it.
  20. I knew I didn't have the right applicator. Never fails. I'll either hold off or use something until I can get the correct tools. THANKS @RayS
