Hopefully all went well with your fungus removal. Keep us posted on the outcome.
It went very well. I used a sponge, car shampoo and pressure washer, got all of it off and no visible signs that it was ever there. Thanks for the advice!

Hi Robert,
I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with Artillery Fungus twice and in both cases White Vinegar is what I used and a sponge to get the remaining spores off the vehicle. It takes time and effort to get all the spores removed that don't come off with the pressure washer, but they come off.
I'll be tackling that in the morning.

I just purchased a 2018 metallic grey Rav4. On top of the car are several black spots, which after researching a bit, it's artillery fungus. How do you clean it off? It has a rough feel to it.

Welcome to the forum, I've only been here a little over a year, but there are some pretty knowledgable detailers on here with some great helpful tips.
I would consider putting a Graphene Ceramic Coating on that new paint job after it has fully cured.
It does have the graphene ceramic coating. 1 year old last month.

Just saying hello and looking forward to learning about new products and learning tricks of the trade. I was never really into what I cleaned my vehicles with until I recently had a new paint job on my 07 Silverado. Now, I'm addicted to making sure I'm using the best stuff and using it the correct way.

Would it be beneficial to apply brilliant glaze before applying buttery wax? If so, would I have to wait a certain amount of time before applying the wax? Thanks!
