  1. Last shown in 1999, and took 1st in my class. That's it, no other times. Stays in garage and rarely seen in public.
  2. It has 3.23 rear gears. All 1977 W72 engine cars came with 3.23:1 gears from the factory. As far as the tires, they are the factory originals. My car is no longer street driven. I do run it up and down the street in our addition every now and then. It was hard not driving it, but I am now glad it turned out that way.
  3. Another engine bay photo. Note the factory blemish in the inner fender well.
  4. Here is an air cleaner shot. Note; NOS original air filter with original foam. Very delicate.
  5. Here is another engine picture showing the flash chrome rocker covers which are original to W72 engines as well as the 800-cfm Q-Jet carb. The photo also shows the factory routings of the wires, vacuum lines, hoses, etc. Nothing has been altered or been appart. With the exception of the air cleaner taken off for these photos.
  6. For those wanting more pictures, here is another
  7. The engine is the optional 400-cid T/A 6.6 and carrier upc code W72. The engine bay has all the factory appiled coatings. I have carefully touched up approx 10% of the engine paint using a custom mix for exact color match to the factory paint. What you see is mostly original factory applied paint to the engine with some touch up blended in. But that is it. Everything else in the engine bay it what was originally applied by the Norwood OH workers more than 33 years ago.
  8. That is correct. We ordered the car on Dec 29th 1976 and took delivery on March 18 1977. Totally unrestored including the original factory installed Goodyear tires. She is still new, as new as a 32 year old car can be.
  9. Here are a couple of photos of our unrestored 1977 LS7(W72) Trans Am with 11,382 miles from new. Adams products has made one of the finest 1977 Buccaneer Red Trans Am in existance even better than the day we brought her home more than 32 years ago.
  10. How about that I am from Council Bluffs, IA and Omaha NE is all in the metro area. Have a safe New Years!
  11. Thanks Adam for the info and advise. I keep all my car care products in the house even though my garage never gets below freezing.
  12. Adam I am looking to add machine polish and wax to my inventory of products. Those products shipped during the winter still be ok or should I wait until spring? I live in the Omaha NE metro area.
  13. I am only 500 miles east of you in Council Bluffs, IA (Omaha, NE). Cold here too, highs in the 20's to mid 30's not much snow...... yet!
  14. Thanks Ashley and to all. I am out there on the Pontiac boards I frequent recommending Adam's products.
  15. Hello Harry D. I am the person who posted on two Trans Am sites, Trans Am County and Hitmans. Pic of my car is posted under "Hello from Iowa" John Witzke POCI Tech Advisor 1977-79 W72 Performance Package Historian
  16. Thanks C6bill. I have pictures but only prior to using Adams polish and wax. I will try to post one. I have only completed polishing and waxing part of the car as it is a bit chilly here. My garage is warm and very well insulated but not heated. I see you have an 08 Vette. My brother has one too. Black with red interior, comp gray wheels, auto, exhaust My daily driver is a 08 Trailblazer SS, blue.
