  1. Thanks!!! I can't wait to get her home, the wait is killing me! I have a 230 mile drive home, I live on Long Island and I'll be picking her up from a dealer in MA! Thanks for the link, that's EXACTLY what I'll do! I'll post pics as soon as she's home!
  2. I just bought a brand spankin' new 2014 Shelby GT500, black with the black vinyl stripes, I pick the car up on Friday Of course when I get her home, I'm gonna have to give her the "spa" treatment. Full wash, clay bar, polish (correct any dealer surface scratches), and finally wax. I have all the stuff I need, just have one question on order of application. I want to protect the finish when I am done, but also want that deep wet shine. So do I add the layer of protection on the car BEFORE glazing/Americana waxing, or put the glaze and Americana wax on BEFORE I use the machine super sealant? In which order should I apply these products to the car?
  3. Thanks guys. I have some all purpose cleaner and clay bar. I'll give that a shot tomorrow. I'll order the deep wheel cleaner also. I'll report back with the results. Thanks again!
  4. Hey all. I'm not new to Adams stuff, but I haven't really posted here that much. I just got my car washed for the first time in a while. The temperatures over here have been well below freezing for a very VERY long time, and today we finally hit 60 degrees After I cleaned my car, and the wheels, I noticed black spots on the wheels that just won't come off. The bulk of the grime and break dust came off, but there are spots on the wheels that are much more stubborn. I can feel them with my finger nail, but they won't budge. What are these black spots and how can I get them off? I used detail spray, and a rim cleaner and neither worked. I haven't tried Adams wheel cleaner yet, but decided to post it here to get some insight from those much more knowledgable and experience than me before I buy anything. Thanks! And here are some pics of what I'm talking about.
  5. I want to add another layer of Machine Super Sealant, but my foam pad is still wet from yesterday when I cleaned it. How substantial is the level of protection with one coat of sealant? I want that relentless water beading
  6. Awesome! Maybe we'll run into each other one day lol. I know I won't miss a Shelby that's anywhere within eye sight! I used the Adams "Machine Super Sealant." Extremely easy to work with. The wax/sealant itself is very dark, so it's actually kind of hard to see when it's applied on the paint. When it all hazes up and it's time to remove, it's quite easy to miss some spots when removing.
  7. Thanks! I'm in Nassau County. I'm within an hour from the City.
  8. Thanks for all the help guys. I've been claying, polishing and waxing for about 7 hours now lol. The paint finishing polish on the white foam pad was enough! I'm very happy with the results, here are some pictures. Hey man! I know you from SVT forums! Glad to see you here! Not to get off topic, but this Focus ST is my new daily/toy. I was working on getting the Shelby and was just about to until my daily completely took a sh*% and I really don't want to drive a Shelby in the winter, so I picked this up. Hopefully the 2015 Mustangs are as promising as they seem. If so, I'll just grab one of those in the GT trim and keep the ST. Sorry for the crappy photos, the one of the rear came out terrible.
  9. I just washed my new car and have it ready for clay and polish tomorrow morning. It's a brand new car, so one of my questions is, do I have to use the paint correcting polish, or can I just use the finishing polish? I only have very slight swirls on the paint from when the dealer washed the car before they gave it to me. Secondly, I can't find the instruction videos on the new 2 step system on here. I bought the flex polisher so that's the tool I'll be using, What RPM should I set it at? Thanks! I'll post pics when I'm done!
