  1. Thanks for the replies guys. >I don't see anyway around doing it this way. I would use the HP water but from a longer distance... Yeah - thought of that myself - can be tricky though with the length of the hoses provided and size of the wash 'room's'. Still, no doubt my focus on this lapses at times... I know I mostly go side to side with the pressure washer, but the wash pad is probably all over the place. Great suggestion regarding the up/down side/side approach - I'll give it a go. We have snow this week so photo's will be tricky but as soon as the sun returns I'll try and capture what I'm talking about on the camera. Cheers guys!
  2. Hi Folks, Hope you can help me here... I have a brand new car that I'm trying my ****edest to keep in 'like new' shape through the harsh Calgary winter. Several things make this difficult... 1. It is illegal here to wash your car in your drive. (Our street drains go direct into local ponds, lakes, rivers etc. ) So you have to take your car to a car wash to wash it. 2. Most car washes here are automated and the few that aren't are all equipped with pressure washers. 3. Its usually -10C to -35C here in the winter so you can't give it a rinse at home and then go to the car wash either - frozen water in your panel seams is seriously bad news... So when I'm rinsing my car off at these car washes I use the pressure washer hoses, without pressing the trigger for high power, and rinse in the idle mode. I thought this would be safe enough given that I couldn't use a regular hose like those recommended in the videos. I have the Adams Detail kit and wash the car with all the right equipment from said kit but I am starting to see swirl marks appear on my Evo's panels. Is it the pressure washer doing this? Judging by the patterns I'm thinking yes, or possibly I have grit in my wash pad? If the pressure washer is the culprit is there any way of preventing this? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. G>
  3. Hi, quick question regarding the detail spray. What temperature range does the detail spray work acceptably in? I live in Calgary, Canada, and the winter's can become chilly for extended periods of time. Obviously I'm not expecting to use the product at -30C But it would be useful to know if it was ok at freezing point for example. Many thanks and keep up the good work! Love your products... G.
