  1. You coming to the Italian dinner on Friday night Ray?? Really looking forward to meeting up with the gang at your place my friend.

Adam, My friend Al Baum and I plan to get to Grabiak's about 7 o'clock Saturday morning or so to help out with any set up or whatever go-fer activities you and Ray might have need of but will see you Friday night in time for chow. I warn you I only eat one meal a day. Don't remember (age) if you placed a time to get to the restaurant. Do you have an address for the restaurant? See you then. Rad

  2. I agree, spraying it on and wiping it w/ a shop towel to even it out always works best for me. Especially on a C4, because when at a show and the hood is up ....the wheel wells are fully exposed, top and bottom.

Yeah TN90-ZR1 true but those C4s wheel wells are alot easier to get to and clean.

  3. Hey Guys,

No I have not tried the APC. I've got a shopping list of supplies I need to get ready. I'll add the APC and give it a try! - I'll let you know how it works.

    Thanks

    Rick

Hey Rick maybe you could make it to the Grabiak Detail Clinic on 4/25/09 and stock up there AND talk to The Man himself.

  4. Shouldn't you be graphic designing Rich????

Well, Adam's might be selling the Powerstick soon, so stay tuned!

    (Anal use is not recommended.;))

Hey Adam go for it. I'm about to order. Vette wheels are a B-itch especially the Z06s to clean. Ought to please the ZR1 boys as well. Maybe you could have them for the Grabiak Clinic (Hint) (Hint) (Hint).:bow::bow:

  5. I think I read on here that some people add water to their VRT and spray it on??? What's up with that? Does it work well? What's the ratio of water/VRT to use?

I would lkie to try that as well and then use it almost as In-Out Spray and wipe with a detail sponge. Also need suggestions on getting frame areas to clean where can't reach with detail sponge or use in-out because of the size of the can. Perhaps use in a small sample spray bottle.:help::help::help::pc:

  6. I need advise regarding the care of my convertible to on my Saturn SKY. I noticed many in the forum have Corvette convertibles so this may be the best place for advise. My SKY is garage kept and covered in the winter. My issue is when I detail and wash the car. Maybe Adams products are too good because the car itself is outstanding after the detailing/washing. The top just does not look outstanding as the car. I have used both Ragg Topp and Product 303 to condition and wash the top. Are any of the Adams products good to use after each wash to give it the same "look at me" statement as the car? What about Adams Leather Conditioner?

    Thanks.

All due respect to Adam and the product, the best by far I have used in restoration or preservation of convertible tops is Hartz Ragg Top cleaner and preserver. It is recommended for care of Corvette convewrtible tops and I'm sure the Sky top would be similar. BTW are you coming to the Adams Clinic at Grabiak Performance Center in New Alexandria, PA? You could get some there.

  7. We've become civilized!! Bet they each got a Dollar Store now too! :lolsmack::lolsmack::lolsmack:

At least New Alexandria has a drag strip.

Don't you love Sheetz? It's probably not this way down your way, but here, they dominate the gas prices. Whatever Sheetz does, all others follow. Not one gas station is ever lower than Sheetz.

Rich, 4 dogs for $2, can't beat that. Had three for lunch:lol: BTW they creat the market here as well.:add:

  8. Just don't expect too much. :jester: Blairsville is a fairly small town, and New Alexandria is even smaller. Just a little Pennsylvania town that happened to have a highway go through it.

Do you want any local car clubs to get this info or are we trying to keep it really small?

Rad, did they EVER get 22 done??

Hey Rich, Both Blairsville and New Alexandria have Sheetz convenience stores. Now what more could a body want?:D

  9. About 45 minutes east. Over a mountain of course. ;) I'm hoping for nice weather too. Maybe the Vette might make the trip. :xfingers:

Rich, 100% agreed re: the weather. We do need to get our toys out. I wonder if 73VetteGirl will be traveling after all New Alexandria is handy to the PA Turnpike. BTW I do believe you are two mountains away i.e. Chestnut Ridge and Laurel Mtn.:D

  10. My friends, I've just booked 3 hotel rooms on Friday the 24th at the local Hampton Inn in Blairsville. (1 mile from Grabiak Chevrolet) 2/ Queen Beds/ room.

Pie Cucina is the recommended Italian Restaurant in that town. Dinner is on me for all who attend on Friday night!:drool:italy.gif

So far, MarylandVette (Rich Schmidt) is coming that night I believe. Tom McDuffee is coming from Ohio, and Rich, you might come up the night before. That leaves 1 more room, 2 beds/ 2 people.

We'll draw names from the hat is a bunch of people want that room. I'm covering the rooms for moderators, good customers, or someone that I want to sleep with. :jester: Any takers:lol::lol:

Rooms are only $109/ night there, so if we fill the spaces, and anyone else wants to come, splitting a room at $55/ person won't kill anyones cash-flow! Besides, I'm buying the pasta and vino at the Cucina!

Man Adam seeins as how I'm a natural born mooch, I'll see you at dinner.

BTW Blairsville is about 8 miles east of Grabiak. Rad:lolsmack:
