Yea, you should be fine to do a waterless wipedown. but like said before if there is debris and other stuff too much for just a wipedown you should do a two bucket and wash the vehicle and dry it again before continuing. then just pick up where you left off

Lol, I was looking at at PC/Flex detail kits last night and debating which to buy and what other stuff to add in and my wife walked in and called me a dork haha. They chose to marry us so what's that say about them?
Exactly

Looks amazing. I had to put on my shades just to look at the pics.
-
Thats awesome. You did a great job

Bummer!
It happens. I got the GTO to break 400rwhp and that was my goal. But I was looking to get this truck anyway.
-
No, worse... Totalled. Its my luck though. Happened the same way with my last car. I get in an accident thats not my fault. Get my car back from repairs, then have it totalled a week later and still not my fault. But since I avoided a deer in one accident and avoided a driver who fled. Both accidents are my fault this time. Yea. Well atleast I know to hit the deer and drunk driver now. Hahaha
You can get a minor improvement by doing the following:Apply a VERY (I mean silly thick) application of leather conditioner to the bolsters, massage it in by hand, let it sit for a few minutes then lightly knock down the excess with a dry foam app or towel.
Then move the truck into an area that will get sun for most of the day, leave the windows rolled up and let it bake. The heat will relax the leather a little bit and the wrinkles will be slightly less noticable.
Problem is a short time later the seats will go back to how they were.
Thats what i figured. Thanks though

The GTO is gone and i picked up an arrival blue 2004 silverado ss. It has 51k on it so the seats have a little wear but nothing rediculous
-
Thats what i thought. I was reading other sites that were saying to use a hair dryer or an iron with something in between to tighten it up and then condition while it was warm. Sounded kinda risky to me.

Is there a way to remove wrinkles and creases from leather seats?

I have a pc currently and if I could do it again I would get a flex. If time is not an issue and you dont have heavy correctiom a pc will work.

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!

Well rubber ducky is listed under other lol. Great detail!

Thanks chris. I'm at my shop and thats actually one thing I thought of after you had posted. I have everything off in my shop except a battery charger so I can listen to my radio, so there was no draw on that circuit except the pc.

Thank You everybody for your help

Thats what I thought but its still going. I purposely make it a point to let the machine breathe so it doesnt overheat, but I'm not perfect. It wasnt hot maybe warm like usual but its still going without a hiccup. Weird but as long as it works I'm happy:pc:

Ive seen that chart before. If I remember correctly the 7424xp is 4.5 amps. So 16 gauge should be ok. Ive read the other threads on extension cord and amps. Dylan said as long as you are 16 gauge or better at 50ft you should be fine.

Its working for now, I dont know why or how. Blew some air through it. Hopefully it stays working
-
Its not the extension cord because Ive tried plugging the pc directly into the wall. I wish it was that simple
-
Nah, the cord never got yanked probably me pulling the cord along the ground around the tires or omething got the plug loose. The prongs are fine I've triend a couple different outlets. I've also only gotten to use my PC about 3-4 times in total so its not that old.

:help:I am in the middle of polishing out my new truck and now the PC wont turn on. I was using the focus pads to hit some tight areas with no problem. I started to polish out the roof with a 6" pad and the machine started cutting out. I looked down at the plug and the plug was only half way into the extension cord socket. So I fixed that no big deal, then I started to try and polish the roof again and it was cutting out again even worse. Now it wont turn on at all. It has been sitting for about 20 minutes now. I have it plugged directly into the wall and still no go. There is power to the outlet.
I was running the pc at speed 5 and my extension cord is 25' 16 gauge. I have used the same extension cord before with no problems.

HydroFoamer nozzle attachment my fix
in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Posted
I have a hydrofoamer foam gun that I bought from thompson racing I believe a year ago. I wanted more power from the nozzle to actually rinse down the vehicle to knock dirt and grit off. So instead of buying a pressure washer or a firehose nozzle which Ive been debating for a while, I decided to skip the quick disconnects and shutoff valve and just make a tip for the nozzle where the foamer normally connects. I figured hey I already have a quick disconnect and the nozzle shuts off why not. It actually turned out better than I thought. Best of all, I made it and its made in the USA
