  1. i cannot wait for this!!! im really hoping its everything gta4 was supposed to be
  2. I built windows:confused: and am about to design a new shed to house my jet ski. 100 bucks a month in storage fees is driving me nuts. About as nuts as the dirty mini and dads Audi sitting side by side:help:
  3. I love this song, one of their best IMO Also this one is awesome
  4. I sold my first car, an 06 Mini S when the economy got bad. I missed it so much that i bought another one, but last month i came to the conclusion i do not like my new mini. its not the 06's its too refined and "boring" it just doesnt have that go cart feel that i fell in love with. So, Ive been looking around for good condition low milage Mini's and went on fleabay. Low and behold my mini is up for sale by private owner. Vin number matches and everything. My mini has been gone for 16 months now and i sold her with 18k on the clock. She now only has 30k and the owner claims he stored it away for the winter. It looks like he took decent care of it aside from the engine being dustier then a humvee in Iraq. What is odd though is hes only selling it for 14k. Ive done the calculations and since there is a lien on it and what he probably purchased it for he would owe right around 12k assuming he did a 48 month loan. Book value from KBB and NADA average to $18,500 Ive sent him an email with a list of questions. He lives 7 1/2 hours from me in NY and am seriously thinking about it. I leased my current mini as its in the business name. Ive read that BMW financial is pretty good with lease transfers and am thinking about trying lease trader. But im afraid if i wait to dump my current mini that i might lose out on getting my Baby back:willy: Ugh, what to do what to do. Of course i would get her inspected before any final paperwork. Has anyone on here gone through lease trader? here she is Mini : Cooper S | eBay
  5. yeah, i was thinking about anthony today actually, i saw a blue gen coupe pass buy and said to my self...HEY! where's Anthony been?!?!?!? @Bill. is my bad day because of all my GM rants and hits ive been taking towards you? do you have a vodoo doll of me:lolsmack: please, no more i sware i wont take any more jabs at you/gm:willy: Also, at least they didnt say that your job was outsourced and you have to train them:jester: good luck with the job search!!!
  6. today was an aweful day. The day started off bad at 6am when my pc wouldnt load QB to print out a change order/form. Googled one and 45 minutes behind schedule finally left. I then went to HD to treated my self to a couple new bits & a shielded wire stapler. I also picked up plywood to build a mount for the IC subs to support the weight because the ceiling material wont support them. Had the cashier (she was cute) sneeze all over me, like WTF? proceeded to crack a few jokes and went off to the job site Arrived on jobsite late only to find out that the temporary plywood floor was removed under the covered patio. Asked the customer if there was a HD/Lowes near by and proceeded to give me directions. Went off, following his directions exactly ended me up in the outskirts/deep ghetto of trenton. Watch a cop take down two guys single handily take down two guys running. Meanwhile thinking the whole time thank god my truck isnt lettered right now, Finally got back on track and ended up at lowes. Cashier crashed the computer system and took 15 minutes to get it back on line. found a chick-fil-a and ate, only to find out that they screwed my order up (their spicy chicken sandwich is awesome) and got a nother sandwich, instead of saying anything i just ate and went on my way. 3 1/2 hours after i had left i came back and found that my parking spot and all access to the backyard was blocked by three huge tanker tractor trailers filling the pool. Carried 6 sheets of ply wood at least 1000ft from the front yard, get my gear and start to proceed. My circular saw decided to kick the bucket and all my cutting had to be done with a jigsaw. Finally got that done and everyone and their mom decieded it would be a good idea to start asking me questions and telling me about what i already knew. Installed two self made sub woofer brackets and run wire, clean up and come back. Its rush hour by this time, heard on the radio that there was an overtuned tractor trailer on the highway. I bearly got off before the wall of traffic hit. Hit every light, everyone was getting off. Traffic was terible. Finally start making some headway and a storm hit and took out all the lights. I about recked my van 7 times because of idiot's. a trip that should have taken 45 mintutes took 2 hours Finally got home to find that power was out, my phone was dead and i somewhere lost my key to my house today at the jobsite. 7:45 and i am finally writing this with wendy's and a beer in my right hand. Ohh, i forgot to mention that it was 97 degrees with 70% relative humidity. And i didnt get even close to finishing pre-wiring this cover patio. I also found out that i have to be back in two weeks to finish the wiring for the surrounding pool speakers. I had to cancel my vacation plans as to not hold the project up. Today sucked.
  7. picked up my jetski from its 10hour service, went to the bank washed the Audi and am now listning to The Eagles. they charged me $276 bucks for my jet ski service:help::willy: i thought it was a joke and about told them to go F themself's but then i saw the board above with Seadoo 10hr. Service:o. They however found an o-ring on the impeller assembly that needed to be replaced because it was installed wrong from the factory. Said it could have caused some serious damage to the pump system had they not caught it. So i suppose it was worth it 500post's strong, im glad this thread is still alive!
  8. i took my new jet ski out for her maiden voyage, came back and cleaned her up real good:D
  9. I spent 9 1/2 hours in a skybridge browel of a yacht dressing and looming 50+ feet of cable back and forth in a 10ft area that isnt being used. did i mention it was 92....today sucked

  14. its unfortunate that iron man II sucked IMO, i had such high expectations for it:mad: However, it is a crazy sick movie if you have a good surround sound system. I would love to shake the hand of the guy who mixed the sound:thumbsup: he did an awesome job:cheers:
  15. :jawdrop::jawdrop: that has 110k on it:willy: And it looks that good! wow good luck, you shouldn't have any issues selling it. Try posting it over on http://www.gmtruckclub.com Goodluck!
  16. Did a small camera job yesterday, was going amazing until the last camera, plugged in; nothing. De-installed the camera re terminated the BNC, Nothing. Went to another appointment for a AVR replacement and came back to the camera job this morning. Spent 5 hours trouble shooting, finally said WTF, ran a jumper and it worked. Ended up being a bad RG59 in one section, toner didnt pick up the damaged wire. My mind was/is fried. The customer is a retired union electrician ex marine, awesome guy. Has a literal arsenal in the basement and showed me how to make bullets and invited me out to the range next weekend. wife walked in and asked if I do home automation and now have a blank check to retro in some Crestron Prodigy/ Lutron Radio ra As i was putting stuff away in my Van he grabs his new case of corona and throws it in there as a "tip". Ide say my saturday turned out pretty good after all
  17. thank you! The only down side to this is doing the hour commute each way, its going to be near impossible to keep the vehicles clean:( especially all the bugs:willy: Im going to have to get there a half hour early each day and waterless wash her:lolsmack:
  18. well, before i posted this i wanted to make sure it was finalized. Sooo I got a message from a friend in the industry (kindof) that works on 5-35 million dollar yacht's installing Audio Video/Navigation/Bridge Controls. They layed off alot of people 2 years ago and are just now ramping production up from 55yacht's a year to 70 per year and are in desperate need for guys that have experience in the AV industry. He shot me a message asking if i would possibly be interested in working with them, of course this means I would have to essentially put my business on hold while working for them.... Yesterday i met with the boss/HR manager to discuss pay and to show me around the plant. I instantly fell in love with the yacht's and all the electronics that are involved in making them function. We discussed pay and initially it will be a pay cut but once my three month trial period is over they would close to triple my pay (assuming im not screwing up and costing them money as each mistake generally costs the company 7-15k to remedy it). Being in the business I know what newbies can do so I willingly accepted the offer. I will be down in florida once a month on company pay to service electronics, California 4 times a year and once or twice a year my department will get flown out to yacht's around the world where the electronics system malfunctions. I told them after about 5 years worth of building my business its going to be hard to just place this on hold, and they agreed and asked if Ide be willing to accept fridays off. It works because that way i can really focus on nailing down the jobs i want rather then taking anything so i can pay the bills. Its an amazing opportunity thats just too hard to pass up right now and after a year of marine electronics on the job training they will nearly quadruple my salary. I start monday training and will be in training for the entire month working side by side each interior department to understand exactly how the yacht's are put together and where there are generally open areas to be able to fish wire's. I am very excited and fortunate to be able to take this opportunity, its really by the grace of God this happened:thumbsup:.
  19. i went to class, found out i missed a test somehow/somewhere therefor i failed out of the easiest class known to mankind:mad: professor will *think* about letting me retake....but we all know what happens when a professor thinks about something:mad::mad: in better news i corrected one half of my DD looks incredible, went on to correct the hatch jaw dropped in awe of what these products did, pulled my truck in with the headlights still on went to inspect my work and found scratches everywhere on both sides of the license plate...went on to wipe remaining residue and watched a scratch form right in front of my eyes. I then looked down at my CLEAN SSMF in complete disbelief and noticed a piece of sand in there:mad: good news its only on either side of the license plate so i can correct it without spending 3+ hours again on the hatch

  22. i know, its impossible. I hear Texas girls are simple and understand cars, up here all they care about is the Jersey Shore (show) and looking like snookie when they go down to the shore I say we need to have an ADAM's singles party, preferably with more women then men:D:lolsmack: Ohh, i stuck some of my adams stickers on on my detailing cabinet and all my parents cabinets....slowly, they will become mine (insert evil laugh)
