I know I've read this on here somewhere but I've searched for days and can't find the thread. I found some hardened tree sap on the roof of my truck from being parked under a tree at my house (I live in the woods) . Don't have a garage so I finally solved the problem by picking up a canopy and the local hardware store to park under. So what's the best way to get this stuff off the clay bar wouldn't get the job done? Feel free to post the thread and delete this if necessary.

Thanks for the input. I was just looking for someone who maybe had a side by side shot of polish just applied and polish that had been worked long enough. It seemed to become greasy and transparent a lot faster than I had expected and I want to make sure I'm working the polish long enough. I know the temperature/humidity can effect this but on average how many passes up/down side/side do you guys make with the pc and flex per section?

Does anyone have or can anyone do a side by side shot of polish before and after it's flashed. I'm getting ready to do my big spring detail in a week or so and last year this is the only thing I really struggled with (not knowing how long to work the polish). When I polished before, it seemed as if the polish was transparent and 'greasy' looking almost immediately so I never really saw where it flashed or changed consistency. I think a lot of people could benefit from this. Thanks!

Truck looks awesome Dylan. I have practically the same truck except black . I wouldn't trade it for the world though I love freshly detailed black paint. I just ordered the flex a couple days ago to use for my spring detail this year because it took me a lifetime to polish that much surface with the pc and it's black. How do you go about polishing with the flex around those raised edges on the edge of the hood and those 2 groves towards the middle? I don't want to run the risk of burning through the clear in those places as a first time flex user.

I'm getting ready to get a new set of wheels for the summer soon also. They've been on back order forever. Would it be better (longer lasting) to coat the inside of the wheels with MSW by hand I think i saw someone do that a while back or should i just hit them with quick sealant?
