Hey guys, On my way back from school today I got pulled over by CHP, along with the car in front of me. It's a single-lane stretch of the highway, and the only cars traveling in my lane were me and a white Corolla in front of me, by about 5 car spaces. We were driving along when a CHP officer drove by the car in front of me and quickly made a U-turn. By the time I passed the officer, he was already slowing down on the side of the road. After he made the U-turn, and put his lights on, I pulled over to let him pass. Instead, he tells me to pull up behind him. He goes on to pull over the car in front, and I pull up behind him on the side of the road. He then gives me a speeding ticket?! Claims the white Corolla was going 76, and when I asked how fast I was going he said I was also going 76, which is complete BS because after my first ticket a few years ago I never go past 5-over the limit, plus I had my sister and her friend with me and I don't take stupid risks. I told the officer that is not true and I was so far behind that car, he replied "You were travelling with that car." Does that even make sense? I was travelling with everyone on the road, is he going to ticket everyone?! I feel like since me and the other car were pretty much alone on the road he just ticketed us both. He had a smirk on his face as I signed the ticket too. I'm planning on fighting the ticket, but I don't have any experience in this, but I do know it's my word vs. the officers and I probably can never win that. I was having a long, difficult day and he just ruined it even further. Sorry for the long post, but I needed to vent, and I need some honest tips/help. I can't really afford a lawyer.. any ideas as to what I should do? Fight it and hope he doesn't appear in court?

Kinda have to agree with the1inblue here, I've watched most of their episodes and like most things on television these days it's just too ... "staged"? That kills it for me. Plus the main guy is annoying, and the quality on the cars they turn around is LOW.

Yeah it's insane how he passed so many drug tests at the time they were taken, but now is being told there are blood samples of his from a few years ago that contain some type of substance. Why wasn't that brought up at the time of the drug test and not so many years later.

After all this time I think anyone would be tired of fighting. Those guys are really going after him and I kind of feel sorry for the guy. Maybe since so many are accusing him there must be some truth to it, but i don't know ...

These i-series Intel chips are great for overclocking. I think you'll be able to push it to 1.4-1.5v with ease. I'm running an i7-2600K at 4.2Ghz, but I tried out the built-in overclocking which came with my MSI motherboard, and it took care of everything so nicely I decided not to mess with the settings myself.

Awesome build! There's always something rewarding about building your own computer (much like detailing your own ride). This is one of the most tidy setups I've seen, and the attention to detail is incredible. Very freakin' nice.

As long as you're not driving with the strobes on, you can have them on if you're parked (AFAIK). Many people have strobes on their cars for car shows and such, they just don't use them while driving (serious offense for trying to be a cop). All this reminds me of how glad I am I never went with my plan and got myself a Crown Vic in high school.

You'll be running BF3 just fine. I'm running my on Ultra high graphics throughout on my GTX 560. As for the GTX 690, I suggest you would wait if you haven't bought it yet - new videos cards coming out in a month or two, they will be a lot better. Sorry to jack original post -- good luck with sale!

It's not that I'm looking for "hey this affected people of my religion, so listen up" by any means, but I just feel like as humans we always just turn away from hate crimes. I'm still young and have my whole life to live to and learn what many of you already know, and I guess it's my youth and inexperience wishing that by now, hate based on color, race, etc would be gone. I understand there's only so much we can do, and the world will probably never be rid of people that hate others.. but a part of me really wishes that world would exist.

I agree with many of you that this has happened before and will probably continue to happen. However, I don't agree with sitting back and allowing it to happen. I am saddened at the response to this. I understand many have not heard of the religion, but that aside, why am I getting the feeling that no one really cares? 12 PEOPLE were shot at a movie theater, became huge news, and even the thread on this forum got more replies than this. 6 PEOPLE were killed today and no where near as big as a response. I guess maybe I'm just trying to find something that isn't there.

This hasn't been posted on the forums, but I'm sure some of you might have already heard of the shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Six people dead, plus the shooter. One police officer was shot but expected to survive, many more innocent people wounded. First off, I am a Sikh. This hits me so close to my heart, I'm just devastated. So far it is seeming like a hate crime. For someone to walk into a house of worship, no matter for what religion or person etc, and to shoot innocent unarmed people.. I can't even explain how horrible that is. What is going on in the world? Just a short while ago the shooting in Colorado, and now this, and all shootings in the past. Be it guns or be it media, whatever it is, this is getting ridiculous and out of hand. Just wanted to vent a bit and share this with you guys. I know the whole Sikh community right now is praying for the injured police officer and thanking the police officer who shot the suspect, as well as all law enforcement for their help during all this. My prayers go out to the families of those involved in this tragedy. Just summer time, people are out and about! It'll pick up again soon. In other forums though I've noticed more and more @$$holes joining and just knocking on everyone about everything, and not offering any productive comments, causing most people to just quit.
