This would be awesome.
x2! That was going to be my suggestion...

Nice! I went and put down $1400 for another AR but I'm afraid that I won't get it. It seems that everyone is not ordering or not selling ARs. I hate that we have to fear politics.
BudsGunShop.com's retail store is in Lexington where I live and they are literally backing 18 wheelers up to the store and unloading AR's to sell to people standing in line around the building...It's crazy lol They arent price gouging them either...
Btw, the Ruger American is a nice rifle. Its on my "list" of things to buy soon.

Yea, she was way more upset about it than I was as it's HER car and she "hurt" it lol Those things happen and you fix them and go on.
-
My wife did that to her GTO a couple years back...Not THAT severe but the bumper had completely pulled lose on the bottom, and, of course, broke every bumper clip (if you are familiar with GTO's you know this is a common thing)...

That's a good idea. I was thinking of presoaking the car with waterless wash and use mixture and mf towel to clean it.
Yea I think pre-soaking a heavily soiled car with WW would be ok too...But seems like I get lots of "solids" on the rocker panels and such that would need to be blasted off before wiping it with anything...I guess the $1.50 at the coin op is more an insurance plan.
Also, you could probably do all this in the coin op stall if it isnt busy. Spray off real quick, pre-soak, fill bucket with wash nozzle, wash and then detail spray.
Basically follow Adam's winter detailing video, just skip the suds lol
-
I have often wondered the same thing but honestly didnt have the guts to try it lol
I have tested waterless wash on vehicles far dirtier than what Adam's videos show and found it to work awesome. Now, you have to be quite careful and technique is really important but it worked great.
I think if you took the car to a coin op and blasted off the heavy stuff, you could do as you suggest, mix it with a couple gallons of water and it would work awesome.

The coolest thing about that build is it looks like a "new" car. It has modern styling pieces that make it look like a current production car. Very well done!
-
That's a nice car man! I bet your wife is very happy. The new Equinox is a big step ahead of the previous generations.
Definitely looking forward to the interior quick detail spray!!

Looks like an episode of Duck Dynasty!
LOL I love those guys!
I dont even know what to make of that video...Who does that??

Good looking trucks. They are a little conservative, more of an evolutionary change than a revolutionary redesign.
I like the GMC grill and headlights better than the Silverado but thats subjective. The interior on the base trucks should get a nice upgrade. My old man just bought a 1 ton Sierra Denalli and I honestly cant imagine a truck being nicer inside than that so we'll see what the higher end trims look like.

I've had a few of them and don't like them nearly as much as the Bourbon Stouts. Most of the Bourbon Ales are overpowered with the bourbon flavor/aroma.
Don't get me wrong, I love bourbon and I love ales, but I prefer to keep them separate. Bourbon and stouts blend together soooo well, IMO.
I'll be honest with you, I dont know the difference between a stout and an ale...but I LOVE Bourbon LOL

Got my hands on this little treat yesterday:
Mmmmmmmm....
If you like that, you should try Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Very, very tasty!

I finally got a Corvette this year...So you could say my present is already in the garage. I know my wife does

Keep guns in the hands of the military and police ONLY. CWC =anarchy.
Every other state would disagree...

I just saw this one another site and was wondering the same thing...
Anyone ever use it?

Any ideas what causes the "peel" Dylan? I don't know enough about paint to say but I would guess a hand laid job would have it as well. You just dont see it because most of those are sanded out I guess?
I know when I used to work at a large Japanese automotive manufacturing facility, the cars coming out of paint would be "spot sanded" for defects but orange peel was perfectly acceptable.
A paint engineer there told me it was a result of the lack of cure time the cars were subjected to during the paint process but I dont know how true that is.

Well here in the dusty state of Kansas it's hard not to go anywhere without having to go down a dirt road. The wind and dust is so bad here that as soon as a vehicle is out of the garage it's covered in dust.
Holy cow thats no good! Maybe stay away from black then LOL
-
Nice job man!
Question is, why even own something like that if you are just going to drive around on some dirt roads and not take care of it? Thats what trucks are for!

anyone watch the Seal Team Six movie on NatGeo sunday night? it was pretty good
Heard it was nothing by Obama propaganda...No thank you.

Wow, awesome job as always man!
Seeing as how I have your truck's twin, I got some WORK to do lol

Welcome!! Great looking Vette. I am a little partial to the 82's as that's the year I was born.
Btw, the wife and I love our Aussie-built Goat! Any chance you can ship us a Holden? LOL
-
You guys did a great job and the car looks amazing!
That said, I personally wouldnt touch one with a 10 foot pole...I detest electric cars

The C6 door panels are really bad for looking streaky and blotchy. I have tried about everything and Super VRT works the best. I realize its not recommended to be used on interior panels but I havent seen any issues (I wipe it down after application to remove any excess gloss).
My car is a base model so no leather on the dash or door panels hence why I dont use leather cleaner/conditioner.
