  1. Yea I definetly need more light, but with being an apartment I dont wanna put up anything permenant,
  2. I am looking to redo my setup I have in my garage. It been ok for a while, but now I have more adams products, more car parts, more tools and so forth. Right now I have my adams stuff on shelf with all the gallon refills on the bottom of it. Basically I am looking for some slick tricks or products or anything that people added that helps with organization. Some pics would be great too. This is the space I have to use underneath my apartment Since this pic, I have added another tool bench on the back wall
  3. I read the FAQ and I know it says 40 degrees. My garage stays 50-55 (underground), but still not the comfy with letting the thicker materials stay down there. So I keep all my waxes, polishes, compounds (swirl/haze, etc) in my house. I let the APC and sprays and everything else down in my garage. In a tub with insulation wrapped around it just incase
  4. I left work alil early today to get started on this and to run to napa cuz if she took this bad of care of it visually I dont wanna to take the chance mechanically. So before I went to napa I decided to clean up the plastics and vaccuum it. What I used Adams Leather and Interior Cleaner Adams Edgeless utility towel Adams wash mit Adams Car shampoo I used the Adams Leather and interior cleaner with a edgeless utility towel and wiped down all the plastics. For the door jams since I have not yet washed the exterior (12 degrees out) I sprayed the door jams on very low low water just to knock off the big stuff and then used a wash mit (one I use on lower parts of vehicles) and washed the door jams. Now some after pics And one of the engine in the sunlight When I get back from the store I will be applying Adams Leather Conditioner with the Red ufo shaped pad.
  5. Well I got some more pics before pics outside
  6. Yea that is what I am thinking. I am going to try my best and maybe rent a steamer and see what I can do. Worst case scenerio I buy a new carpet, but I figures I would put Adams carpet cleaner to the test first .. Going to wash it and get it dried then gut the seats out and really go at the interior. Wheels need repainted, so while they are off I will be able to get in the wheel wells really well.
  7. Here is an outside pic of it right when I got home from getting it in NY
  8. Yea. When I first got this car for her ( my ex fiance ) it was mint with 18k on the clock. When I first seen it driving down the road and did a quick walk around I thought well it is winter it will be dirty, then i open up the door and was thinking HOLY CRAP! look at my dad who went with me to help drive my other car home and asked him if he wanted to drive it. I never seen him roll up a window so fast and act like he couldnt hear me haha

Congrats on the buy. I just sold my 00 Trans Am. Loved that car and looking to get another one. Sorry to hear about your bad experience, but that is the exact reason I go to pick up a vehicle in a different state with a truck and trailer.
  10. Well After three years of fighting and arguing, I finally was able to get my 06 Cobalt SS back. To sum it up, dont co sign on anything even with a fiance. Well I got it back yesterday and I must say.. ummm.. How someone lets a vehicle get this bad its beyond me. This will be my first real test to clean a vehicle because my "customers" and myself never let a vehicle get this dirty. I am going to go through the whole detail process and try to give a good write or walkthrough on what I did, before and after pics, what I used and hopefully get some insight and tips on how I am doing. This is the first "build" thread that I have done in a LONG time so bare with me. Well on to pics which are just the interior cuz I didnt have enough time to get some exterior yet. 2006 Cobalt SS NA. 69K miles. Here are the interior pics Here is a motor pic as its drying. Sorry I didnt get a before pic but it was 22 degrees outside Sprayed engine down to get the big dirt off, sprayed APC and let it soak for alil, used fender brush/wheel brush on plastics and misc parts. Sprayed off with water. Used a blower to get big water spots and where the water would sit, then shut hood and kept car running as I investigated the interior and next steps. Will get some exterior pics tomorrow. I am doing this in the little spare time I got with work, 20 degree weather and a new puppy. Should be able to really get going on my days off (fri, sat, sun)
  11. Thanks. I got the machine sealant on it and just decided to read the bottle lol. Going to apply some buttery wax tomorrow.
  12. Went to the orange and it worked great. Thanks again for all the help! Last dumb question. After the machine sealant, is it still a good thing to apply some wax over top of it?
  13. I was going to try that, but wasnt sure if I should go to the severe or just the orange?
  14. Ok, In that case. I do not have them and will need to go grab them, but wont be able to just yet (prob a week or two). So in this case can I finish out the machine sealant to seal in and not cause anymore damage and then use the 4in pad when I am able to purchase?
  15. Well I got the complete PC kit when it was on sale and got it for christmas. Today was first day I got to use it. Watched the video numerous times and did my first test panel and was shocked that I didnt mess anything up . Just showing how much of a newbie I am at machine polishing. Ok on to my question. I did the three stage and there are some deeper scratches that it did not get out. Before I do anything else I wanted to make sure of this. In the video Adam got the deep scratches out with the 4in pad on the drill and I do NOT have any of the 4in pads, but right after Dylan got done with the PC segment he said that he wasnt really happy and that he would go over it again. So long story short, when he said that do I start the whole way at the beginning with the severe swirl and haze remover (green)?
  16. I just used my PC for the first time and I NEVER touched any machine before and watched the volume 8 video a few times and did my first panel and I must say I kick myself in the butt for not getting it sooner.
  17. I dont have the pads yet so i used revive and hand applicator
  18. ok guys. I didnt think that would be enough, but I will try it and see what I can gget.. Thanks
  19. My gf has some light scracthes above her door handle. They dont get on my finger nail so they are light. Three lines, i tried to get a good pic of them but thats the best that came out. What you guys suggest? My internet is done at my house and its very hard to search with this tapatalk thing cuz im not used to it yet. Thanks
  20. And these are the wheels that it rides on all the time. I dont switch for the track, i drive it on the street in the same look i take it at the track so it does see some shows so it needs to be clean. I will post some pics once the car gets back from paint
  21. will brillant glaze make these pop even more on top of the quick sealant?
  22. They are not clear coated. I was thinking that as well, but wanted to make sure.
