Just as a side note thats semi-related...
Rumor has it we will finally be able to break free from the ITW/Clay Magic patent law on July 28th (barring their lawyers getting more extensions on the patent or other legal maneuvering). I already have a dozen different bars on my desk that are being tested.
Stay tuned!
how are you looking for to "better" the current clay?
I find the current clay that Adam's sells to be fairly top notch.
Can you sneak us a few insights to let us know how you are making a great product better?

I wish people would stop with the long post on wd40 and saying its fact. Fish oil IS NOT the main ingredient.
the entire post is a mixture of half truths and wives tails.
a quick browse of the WD40 website or even the MSDS sheet will give you what you need to know.

I think its a problem when you're ordering tuff you don't need and you have no idea whats in your own stockpile.
that's half the fun man!

the grey utility towels used to bleed color back when they were black, since the color change IDK.
most people wash like colors with like colors for safety/contamination reasons.

Dave, I would but I don't have any CG HD, and really don't plan on getting any, LOL.
I am not one to get off a horse that still runs.

I would be interested to see side by side Honeydew vs Adams.
Adams shampoo is great through a foam cannon IMO, but you hear SOOOO much about honeydew.
I am quite sure Adams is going to be my staple as the Honeydew videos I see , it dosent foam any better than Adams.

any ETA on single softs. was looking to pick up 10-15 more...

I say yes but I am in the process of polishing my RAM and its huge.......so I will probably do the front, side, and rear sections of the roof and leave the center section un-corrected, but still seal it up.
I did clay 100% though. I get points for that right?

Mook or Dylan,
What do you guys think about using revive to see if that will aid in removing the micro-marring since the paint appears to be soft?
you talking about last weeks "micro marring"?
I tried revive with no result..........in fact I tried FMP/revive mix too, on a variety of pads.

I said I would update on Thurs.... so while my sealant dries here it is
before
before
after
after 2, TWO IPA wipe downs
guys, the above was not done with Adams polishes or pads. :(
sad sad.... I love adams products, but I got to call and pursue the refund.
I will continue to use MANY MANY adams products, as I love them. The polishes/pads just aint for me. I have nothing but respect for the line and the products. Adam and the gang will still get PLENTY of my money, it just wont be from polish or pad sales.
There is STILL 100+ different products to buy right?????

QUICKLY!!!!!!!
then I would probably spray that spot with APC then wash the entire car.
if no time for entire car, I would go APC then do the entire panel with waterless wash to make sure you got it all.
be sure to inspect the panels around it too just to make sure you got it all (reason I say wash the entire car)
-
I might tinker with it some more off and on, but I am probably going to let it set until Thurs.
I will report back and let you know how it pans out.

too much leather Condidtion you say? IMPOSSIBLE, I say!LOL
hit it with a dry MF towel and the "sheen" will soak in and go away. I really dont mind it if I get a little sheen though.
-
Glass and leather condidtioner is VERY VERY hard to beat IMO

you cant tell by my fatass in the video?? LOL
lmao, for real, I go a heathy 250, probably a shade more.
and yes, from the video I have back off my pressure per Mook's instruction.
-
I always believed the paint was soft too, hence the reason for the FMP with black pad I tried.(having read Dylan having success with it)
Maybe the pictures do not go well as I have not got EXACTLY the same camera lens angle twice, but here live and in person there is really no difference between a polished and unpolished area.
I will probably call headquarters tues morning after the holiday.

befores
amount of polish
Flash and Sun dont lie.
still a swirled up mess, it did take out a bit of the hazing, but still not acceptable by even a SOS pad standard.
Open to ideas, though I am thinkning with as many passes and combos, trails I have ran, it might be time to punt.
SHR speed 5, worked till flashed. much less product and less pressure
FMP speed 4 , till flashed (4 passes) less product and pressure .
What next?

ok, about to try again. will report back.
and to clarify, I have not seen improvement, worse if anything at this point.

Look what I have next

I dont think anything is gonna fix that keyed area but a paint booth!
Good Luck!
