  1. Good idea, I'm getting tired of stuffing taco's. (get your mind out've the gutter) How does one become a dealer anyway?
  2. I've seen your work, you're no master detailer.
  3. That's pretty cool, I have to check that out some time. My photo skills are that of a retarded monkey.
  4. Someone's on a roll tonight.
  5. Lol thats pretty funny. The new CTS-V is no joke.
  6. Can't you just ban him and get it over with already?
  7. Why can't there be an Adam's Polishes Warehouse in NYC?
  8. I just emailed Adam about this. I must say Bill, we work well together lol
  9. Haha, it's probably because I associate with that g37speed kid on the forum.

    funny pothole

This commercial drives me nuts. I HATE that voice. Reminds me of the stupid bimbo from that horrible show King of the Hill.
  11. You know what would be cool, an Adam's Calendar with images of rides from this forum. Just a thought.
  12. Adam beat me to it, I was going to say spray it on the applicator sponge then go to town! Looks great btw!
  13. Rick let me know how you like it - now I'm curious.
  14. I'm with ya, I'd rather scrub the wheels down with a brush.
  15. I'm still weary about buying the power stick, are the cleaning things soft or hard? I feel like its not going to work on the inside of my wheels.
  16. Actually, none. But it's funny just this morning I was thinking about keeping a small bag in the trunk for "detail emergencies". Thanks for encouraging me to buy an Adam's bag, Steve.
  17. I'm actually tempted to pick up a set of Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads once the winter is over. I don't know what it is with Chrysler and brake squeal but both my Charger and Challenger have brake squeal on the front right wheel. The Charger is someone else's problem now though haha. If you have a gallon of the All Purpose Cleaner, use it! I've tried both, and quite honestly, the only difference is the smell. They're both great products. But again, don't waste the gallon if you have it. Good luck with the wheels, if you have any other issues with them, shoot me a pm! Team SRT!
  18. Ahh yes, those Brembo pads throw a ton of dust, don't they? I clean the entire wheel every wash, because they get very dirty after a week or so - I don't have to tell you. I spray down the entire wheel, inside and outside, with All Purpose Cleaner. You can use Green Wheel Cleaner too, it does the same job. Now for the All Purpose Cleaner, I just spray it on - I don't dilute it or anything. I'm not a freakin' chemist - I just want to spray the stuff and be done with it. Let it sit for a few seconds, then I use Adam's Boars Hair Brush and go to town on them. For the back wheels the Boar's Hair Brush fits no problem. On the fronts, I have to use this cheap Autozone brush to fit under the section of the wheel where the caliper takes up. Other than that one section, I use the Boars Hair Brush. I hope that helped.

    Sig pic

Mine was made by a guy named AreTee on chargerforums.com
  20. Very nice! Pity to waste all that product on a Pontiac tho. Just kidding, great work old timer!
  21. How about a fox body mustang, with a 5.0?
  22. I tried that, but it was a larger brush. Didn't really work. I'm gonna try again tomorrow I think that brush was too soft.
  23. Alright I figured I would try to type something up more clear than what I've been doing on my craptacular BlackBerry. So what happened was the guy told me he baked the paint so it was ok to buff out the area. I did not, however, ask him if it was ok to wax. I figured buffing and waxing goes hand in hand. Silly me. Anyway, long story short, I'm just going to play it safe and buff out the area in two months (X-Mas) break. Overall, the job came out really well, the guy matched the paint spot on. The only thing that bugs me is that there's a couple spots where I guess dirt got under the clear and there's a bit of a bump. When I'm ready to buff I'll just wet sand that with some 3000 grit. Another thing that bugs me too is that the guy got some compound on my plastic rocker panels, but I'll just hit that with some VRT and I'm good to go. Just washed the car today, but its getting dark so I'll take pics tomorrow. I'm glad my baby is home. Hopefully I won't do anything stupid like this again.
  24. I'm glad you guys told me don't wax. Ill wait two months for that. I just have to buff and polish it. Thanks guys!
