So far I have tried store brand microfiber utility towels and Adam's WW towels.  Perhaps a single soft would work?

I have only used it with Adam's edgeless utility towels . Maybe the other towels aren't spreading it evenly ? Those store brand towels are pretty in consistent in quality .

interesting. I have been using it on multiple types of vehicles  and never have this issue.  But I only spray the towel then wipe and buff with a second one. My Hyundai Genesis  should have similar materials as your KIA . I have yet to have issue with this product. I love the natural new car look of it .

I don't think the wipe down necessarily needs to be done 12 hours later, just as long as it's done before another layer of wax or sealant is applied. All that you're wiping off is outgassing residue, so if you wanted to use MSS on the truck, you can leave it outside (and the SS inside) without a problem. Just drive the truck around until it's time to wash it again, then you can put a coat of Americana or whatever else on top.

Its just not feasible if you want to use on a customers car. 

One of the main differences has nothing to do with gas or electric . It is the GPM as I  use the  Cam Spray 1500a electric unit the out puts 1450 psi and 2.0 GPM and it produces great foam with my cannons. Plus the cheaper electric units have crappy pumps.

You got yourself a pretty good camera there . I also have a 60D and a 50mm 1.8 and a couple of other lenses. Just take your time but as stated enjoy the moment . Don't get caught up worrying about camera settings. You have been given some solid resources that should have you pointed in the right direction. Enjoy and congrats on the wedding and new camera.

Sounds like a good upgrade from what you where using. I personally use a Camspray 1500A myself . Enjoy it.
