  1. Do you clean them and let them dry out between use/storing them? Or do you just throw them back in the jar?
  2. I just picked up a new jar of Americana and Interior Paste. The applicators both have some residue on them from being in the jar. The interior paste is fairly soaked and got my hands oily just touching it. I don't plan to use them for awhile, do these need to be cleaned first? Also curious if it's still a bad idea to store them in the jars between uses without cleaning?
  3. Last time I ordered interior detailer it was green, and kind of smelled like baby wipes. I found myself using the leather cleaner and leather conditioner more often. Hows the new stuff compare? Where would it fit into a line up vs. the Interior Cleaning Gel + Protection Paste?
  4. Rinseless wash is a more concentrated version of Waterless wash.. might be more aggressive for your purposes. Personally, I use car shampoo applied with the foam cannon, let it sit, then go at it with a pressure washer. The re-foam and bucket wash.
  5. Really all depends on how nitty and gritty you want to get. Seeing as you have two polishers I imagine you're quite a detail addict. Personally, I simply strip wash the car, clay it, hand polish any areas I see need a touch of love, and then seal it with a sealant, and after the next wash I topcoat with Americana. For the interior, I like to enjoy the new car smell for awhile before I touch anything, so I just wipe away light dirt with a damp cloth as needed. After awhile I'll do a light interior clean and dress it.
  6. Do the soaps in these self wash bays tend to strip waxes/sealants or are they pretty gentle? I see Adam recommend these for winter washing, but he immediately coats with guard n gloss
  7. Thanks! Surprised anyone remembers that haha but it's great to see some long time members still here. Never stopped detailing and hanging around but I've been lax on keeping up with all the new products over the years. I could ask a million questions now.
  8. My point was, with that line of thinking, what could have been so bad with the original APC that they tried to discontinue and replace a fan favorite without asking costumers first? Similarly, not too long ago a fast food joint removed and replaced one of their most popular sauces under the guise "we want to continue to make our products better." People freaked out and demanded they bring back the old sauce. The restaurant finally caved and said it was really removed because it was the last sauce that still had high fructose corn syrup, which did not line up with their overall menu beliefs. They apologized and brought it back.
  9. By that logic though, why would the company originally try to discontinue and replace an 'unbroken' APC with a safer version?
  10. It's about time to order some more cleaner and was curious about the strength of the two (Can you dilute Eco APC as much as you can the APC?) I was also curious about the overall health safety of using both cleaners? ECO says it's "safer" than the APC but then under the Pro Line section of the website it has a warning label on about serious damage to eyes and suggests wearing eye/face protection. Thanks
  11. Got it as a freebie in the recent sale, but I am more of a VRT guy for the tires. Hit me up with anything you're willing to trade for it
  12. As far as longevity goes, last time I checked, leaving Adam's chemicals in the car was not recommended. Does the same apply to the new wipes or will cold and heat not affect them the same?
  13. With the new Interior wipes in the line up, what are the chances of getting some APC wipes? They sure would come in handy for cleaning off exterior trim, engine bays, trunk trim etc. without needlessly messing up nice microfiber towels.
  14. Tried searching the forums and google but didn't have much luck. Seems like a lot of guesses and bickering lol so hopefully this doesn't get too out of hand... Anyways - I'm interested in the foam cannon but have no pressure washer... any suggestions? Thanks!
  15. I'm looking more for accessories than products.. Thanks though!
  16. Still looking.... hit me up with some offers.
  17. Got a GWDT in my mystery box, but have a surplus... looking to trade it for a lug nut brush or something of similar value. Preferably new! Thanks
  18. Was hoping to keep it around $300..... ha I'd average I spend $15-$20 at the pressure washer a month, so spending a little over would eventually pay off I suppose.
  19. What are some good brands of pressure washers? Looks like Karchers are pretty nice..
  20. Mine looks like that Whats the proper care for them? I usually just run it against the grit guard, pressure wash it and let it air dry...
  21. I must say, I got to try the DWC today, and surprisingly it doesn't smell as bad when you're actually using it ?? but man it still smells when it's just in the bottle. I took that advice above. I've got it in a bag in the basement.
  22. Bad idea. Trunks get hot during summer, and cold during winter. Your products will go bad for sure if you keep them in your car.
