  1. I have yet to use this stuff... but I was just putting the sprayer in the bottle yesterday and it stunk up to whole room the short amount of time the bottle was open. I put the red shipping cap in the trash, and it stunk up the whole kitchen so bad I had to take out the garbage... Anyone else think the smell is a little.... pungent ?
  2. Dylan told me their supplier was backed up on the blue foam, but they got some in stock on thursday that they're only using to fill orders for americana/kits..
  3. Looking to sell my Porter cable 7424xp I got through Adam's. What all you will get: - Porter Cable 7424xp - Adam's 6 inch foam pad backing plate - Adam's 4th Gen. Green Severe Swirl and Haze Remover pad - Adam's 4th Gen. Orange Swirl and Haze Remover pad - Adam's 4th Gen. White Fine Machine Polish Pad - Adam's 3rd Gen. Black Machine Super Sealant Pad - Adam's Severe Swirl and Haze Remover - Adam's Swirl and Haze Remover - Adam's Fine Machine Polish - Adam's Machine Super Sealant - Adam's Pad Cleaning Brush All products were stored indoors. I think two of the pads have a little bit of wear to them but still work fine. I can send pictures if needed. All bottles come with Adam's new "self cleaning caps" ! Pictures were taken in front of strong lighting in order to showcase the amount left in each bottle: I didn't snap a picture of the MSS, but it has the same amount as the Fine Machine Polish. Please PM all offers.
  4. Thanks dylan, so would you stick to using swirl and haze remover, or just skip that all together and only use revive?
  5. Would it be safe to assume that you could use the Paint Correcting Polish/orange hex as you would Swirl and Haze Remover? And then follow up with Revive and a blue hex?
  6. Title says it all... Seems as if foam is better for putting on wax/glaze etc.. while microfiber is better for removing. Would be cool to have a hex grip with a microfiber pad.
  7. I think the old smell is more unique. It's hard to place a finger on the exact scent.. However, the new detail spray just smells like lemonade or fruit punch.. it's not as interesting, which kind of cheapens it if that makes sense.. .
  8. I've recently got two brand new 4 inch red focus pads and I'm looking to trade one for a new hand wax applicator. Thanks! Tim
  9. Saving points seems pretty similar to waiting weeks for an upfront special to feature an item wanted. I suggested a rewards point system awahile ago ... I still would prefer this. Easy: Offer reward points on all orders and exclude points for the following: - using a discount code - using a gift certificit that was bought with a discount. - on orders purchased with rewards points. - on daily special items
  10. That is not how I normally spray detail spray to do a wipe-down, which is why I purposely state "there is no question the panel is fully saturated with detail spray." The video was simply to show that I was impressed at its ability to absorb all the left over water after a car wash, go on to do a full detail wipe-down, and make it through a video showing how it can soak up a fully saturated panel of detail spray without leaving streaks. The video was to show it's ability to absorb excess product.. in an attempt to let your mind run free with how it could be ideal for you.
  11. Probably a question better suited for Dylan, but I thought it handled the detail spray wipe down great. I would use a waffle weave towel for the waterless water/cleaning any light dust for the reasons you stated. I noticed a little shedding, but nothing more than the others before I machined washed them. I thought it would be a lot to handle as well, but I worked with it and found a routine that works for me. I think it's worth getting used to.
  12. I was lucky enough to be apart of the testing stages Adam's prototype 46x27 inch microfiber towel you all have seen them working on recently. I went ahead and made a video for you guys to check it out in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds79ggLoStY&feature=youtu.be To give a size comparison, it is the same width as the Great White Drying towel, but about a 7 inches longer. Disclaimer: I did not boil it or anything like some of you hardcore detailers... This was straight out of the bag. If you guys have any questions, leave a comment and I'll try to answer as best I can! It was really exciting for the opportunity to be one of the first to try it out! Hopefully no hard feelings guys
  13. Only had one 36 oz bottle and never liked it. As soon as it got down to half size I put it in the smaller bottles.
  14. Thanks Yep, thats the only plastidip on the car though. It's held up for over a year. I hit it with APC and a toothbrush in-between every couple washes and it looks brand new. Might try some in&out on it some day
  15. Thanks for all the positive response everyone! I like to paint reflective objects . I've also recently been interested in figurative work. Yep Not sure.. spent about 5 weeks on it. Thanks. and of course
  16. I can see it now, some one will sue over this. LOL dylan don't worry about that guy.. "If what you're doing doesn't anger some, you're not doing it well enough."
  17. Spoiler: Its a nice wax in an engraved aluminum case, because the current tubs have too many issues.
  18. I like to wash my car at the self powered car wash bays.. but I can't find any electrical outlets around there Any one have tips on what they do ?

  20. This neighborhood close to me likes to go all out... Some of the houses had turned their lights off by the time I could take this, but it's better than a bunch of cars driving around . The place has a constant stream of cars from 6pm-10pm. Picture is too big to embed: http://i.imgur.com/tVrfP.jpg
  21. I'm pretty stocked up on supplies other than Car Shampoo. But I'm hoping to get a Master Blaster side kick finally !
  22. I asked when I could start detailing the paint and he said i can do anything except wait to wax for 45 days. He went on to say if I wanted to polish it, right now would be the best time because as it cures it will only get harder. Is this true , fresh paint polishes easier than cured paint ?
