Finished detailing the ride today.  Off to see Trans Siberian Orchestra with the wife.  Scored some floor seats.  

Finally washed the car after at least 4 months.  Having a new baby and working nights, time is limited.  Will finish detailing the tires and inside tomorrow.  

Machine pads are MUCH more rigid than the applicators so I would be less inclined to try it with those.  APC has always worked well for my polish pads so I for one will stick with that.  I'm sure you've seen how well those pads hold APC and polish at times when you're trying to clean them, and I'm sure you've seen how pesky Dawn can be to get out of foam.  The combo isn't something I'm willing to tango with, lol.  May work great, but this guy isn't willing to weigh the risk.  

Hanging on to the red plugs is a great idea. Put them in your pour/squirt bottles that aren't used that often, like MSS, as they create an airtight seal which helps preserves the product. I have a few older bottles of product that are going on 4 years and still perform like new. Another thing I like to do, especially during the winter, is periodically shake up some of the products that tend to separate out.
