    I am going to retire my California duster. I used to dust the vette before I sprayed it with detail spray. After reading the above post the duster is history:thumbsup:

    I was talking about using the detailing spray. I only wash the vette when it is too dusty (dirty) to clean with the detail spray

    How often should buttery wax be used? Will detailing the vette 2 or 3 times a week remove the wax?

    I machine wash my microfiber towels and then air dry them. After they have dried I put them in Zip lock style bags and actually squeeze the air out of them to create a vacuum seal. I probably have washed the towels 2 dozen times and they still look and feel like new

    You didn't see loose fibers on the window glass after using the waffle?

    Are you planning to revisit New England again in 2009? I missed you at New Hampshire earlier this month

    What do you use to wipe down the windows after spraying them for cleaning. ALL of the microfiber towels seem to leave very small fibers on the glass (some more then others). The best thing I found is newsprint.

    I purchased my '09 vette last July and had it amoured and detailed. Since then I been washing and detailing the vette. I'm getting up the nerve to wax the vette myself but need your advice. I'm not considering using a Porter cable 7424 because the stress of screwing up the finish for now is too great. What should I purchase to wax my corvette by hand. Your advise is greatly appreciated. Ron
