  1. I recently did a full paint correction of my 2004 mustang, I used the bucket caddy for most of the side panels and it was the perfect height for me. The only time I had trouble with it was for the very low panels near the bottom of the vehicle. The caddy was just a little bit too high to do those comfortably sitting down with the 5 gal buckets.
  2. That's correct, I took a few pictures and looking at it now I uploaded the wrong one haha. Poor lighting but the dark part is fully corrected.
  3. I literally started machine polishing yesterday. Let me say that again, I had NEVER touched a flex machine polisher before yesterday. Adam's swirl and haze remover and fine machine polish, pads, and the flex ... I can't even put it in to words, I'll let this picture sum it up. I am blown away, I did not think I could ever make my 9 year old mustang's paint look this good. Adam's polishes has made my car look brand new. If you are on the fence about trying out machine polishing. DO IT! these products make it so easy, work so well and the results speak for themselves. I still have a big stupid smile on my face when I glance over at my car while writing this. I am officially a customer for life. Shout out to Dylan, who took the time out of his day to give me advice with this process. I am in your debt sir! Thank you!! Buy this stuff! You will never regret it!
  4. Red pad and FMP on 4 was dead on! Thanks Dylan, you are the man!!!
  5. Dylan is the master for sure! When he gets back to me, I'll post it up here also. Hopefully it will help out someone else with similar issues!
  6. Hey guys, I'm currently doing my first correction with the flex. I have only done about half the hood of my mustang. It looks about 95% percent better but still I can see some swirls. It's definitely my technique since it's my first time but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Speed setting of 5 and slow. I've done about 3 passes now of all 3 polishes. Here are some pics: I'm in contact with Dylan over email Any advice from you guys would be awesome also! Thanks!!!
  7. I just got in my Patriot wax today! The packaging and metal case is absolutely stunning! I broke out metal polish and metal polish 2: After results, and after a detail spray down, I had to wear gloves because I didn't want to smudge it all up! I couldn't help myself hahaha: I can't can't can't wait to try it on my mustang in a few days!!! Again, hats off to everyone on the Adam's team, above and beyond with this one guys!
  8. Adams new powered leather and interior horse hair brush No more manual cleaning and scrubbing with this brush! 1 horse power engine powers it! Haha
  9. HAHA! Awesome that it was hidden under the welcome mat like that! Congrats on the purchase and getting it so quick!

    I hate rain!!!!

Tempted by the sun and warm weather this week I decided to take the cover off the mustang and take it out a week earlier than usual. I figured I would get it out of the garage and give it a wash and clay so I could start correcting the paint for the first time with all my new Adams stuff to get it ready for next week. I took it out around 12pm. Started up perfectly after sitting for 6 months. It was a nice day, a little cool but not too bad and a few clouds (still mostly sun though), the weather report was showing 30% chance of rain. That turned out to be 100% chance 3 hours later just as I finished drying, I went inside for a few minutes to grab my blaster sidekick to get the last bit off water off. I came back outside and could have started crying! The rain was pouring down on my once dry and freshly washed car :(:( I hate rain!!!
  11. Can't wait!! Gotta take the cover off the Mustang first but I'm waiting for all this salt to finally get off the roads soon
  12. After some friendly ribbing from my boss a few days ago over the state of my work boots, I knew it was time to detail them!! The salt really did a number on them this winter Sprayed the boots with a little Leather and interior cleaner Used a junk microfiber towel, gross! A little bit of Super VRT Ran out of Dr.Scholls odor stuff... Detail spray works in a pinch, did an amazing job actually... they smell so good now LOL Done! Good as new! Just another example of the never ending uses for Adam's products!
  13. Don't even know what this is but I want it!!!
  14. Welcome to the forum! You can contact Dexter or Gail from Adam's Canada at adamspolishes@mymts.net, that address will go to them directly and they will sort it out for you, they are great to deal with!
  15. Hey all! I have the flex, new to machine polishing and few questions! 1) How would I go about doing sections of a vehicle that are raised, for example a fender or a piece of the hood. I know to tape off edges and keep the pad as flat as possible but how much play would I have going over a raised surface? 2) For deep scratches that can be caught with a finger nail, and that feel really rough to the touch, is it possible to cause damage to the pad by going over these areas? I don't think I would be able to remove these completely but how much improvement would I expect generally? 3) After using the focus pads on a drill in harder to reach spaces, from watching the instructional videos I know that it will leave small swirl marks. To remove those would I just have to use a combination of fine machine or even revive polish by hand? How effective would this be or should I be looking into getting a PC to use with the focus pads for full removal? Thanks in advance for reading this guys and looking forward to some advice!
  16. Hey guys! A little back story as this is my first major purchase. I found out about Adam's polishes last year around this time when I bought my 2004 Mustang GT. I was researching car care products and came across Adam's. I had a look at the forums and fell in love with how amazing everyone's vehicles looked! I knew I was going have to get everything in one shot otherwise I'd keep getting to parts of the car I didn't have the right product for and that just wouldn't do! Fast forward to this year, finally put in my order... It feels like Christmas day! FedEx showed up this morning with 6 boxes! Enjoy! Started with the smallest box first: Blaster sidekick! 2nd box had Gallons of car shampoo, waterless wash, detail spray and APC! 3rd box was the one of the buckets full of goodies! The bottom of this box had a bunch of sprayers too! Slowly fulling up my dining room table! The 4th box had the flex and brushes inside!!! 5th box contained the other bucket packed full as well! Dexter threw in metal polish 1, metal polish 2 and the metal polish towel as a thank you for my order! Thanks Dexter, that was awesome! Last box had a ton of stuff in it + the two bucket caddies! Everything out of the boxes and set up... I'm going to need a bigger dining room table!! Thanks again to Dexter at Adam's Canada for everything, super fast shipping and great packing, everything was perfect! I have the Adam's rolling detailing seat coming in tomorrow so I will do a unboxing of that as well if you guys are interested!
