Right now the Mariners are "Nolan Punching" the Rangers for the second game in a row.

In Rangers Stadium there is a pitching area for the fans and the batter is Robin Ventura LOL

I always thought you could make a buck with a photo booth featuring a card-board cutout of Nolan swinging and a hole where Ventura's head was for the "victim" to place HIS head.

Feel free to steal my idea and get rich. You wouldn't be the first...

Doesn't a few coats of sealer and wax keep some of the washing damage from happening? Seems to me you'd have to wash off all the wax before you started scratching the clear coat again.

Am I assuming too much protection from wax and sealer?

No worries, it worked! I am sure that paint was clear of any sealant or wax! I think the 50/50 gets the job done and is gentle on the paint as well.

I think most experts would agree that the Rangers were the better team last year over the regular season. But there's no denying that the Cards got HOT at just the right time (as happens a lot w/ wild card teams....)

GREAT walk off homer for Josh Hamilton...said he'd been dizzy since the 5th when he hit the wall....he hit his homer in the 13th!

That was an unbelievable finish. I must admit - I almost bailed on the Rangers after they left two on without scoring for the 5th straight inning. Glad I stuck it out, though.

I thought it was interesting that Josh thought they did better when they were down (like in the 13th today). To bad that wasn't the case in game 7 of the WS.....

There are some interweb discussions by some knowledgeable folks that even a 50/50 solution of IPA and water could be too strong for some clearcoats. The dilution with water may also provide a little longer 'work' time.

Now you tell me. Oh well. I don't have any distilled water anyway. Next time I'll cut it 50/50.

I did not.

Other than making it go farther I don't see the point. IPA evaporates very quickly...

I just used IPA and it seemed to work great. I just sprayed it on and wiped it off. I put a few towels down to catch overspray so it wouldn't get on the rest of the car.

IPA is NOT discouraged. We actually encourage it when you need to touch up a small area. If you were going to strip your whole car we would suggest adams shampoo mixed with APC.

 

Spray it on the roof and wipe off with a great white drying towel or Waterless wash towel.

So what if one of them was an off day?

The Rocks beat the Reds today and the Reds have been HOT!

I want to strip the wax and seal from the roof of my car so I can polish it again but I DO NOT want to strip the window sealant or the rest of the car.

Any tips on how to accomplish this? I understand that IPA is discouraged and APC is encouraged but how? Should I spray it on and wipe it off? Diluted? Soak the MF towel and wipe?

Any tips from someone who has attempted something like this?

Looks like King Albert might be finally turning the corner. He's starting to look like the HOF lock he has been for the last 10 years.

If so the Rangers better start winning again or the LAAofAs will start eating into that early lead.

My son-in-law has Canon 5D Mark II with a 50mm f/1.2 lens and knows how to use it.
