  1. Had some nice weather & a little time to work on the TBSS today. Here is an iPhone pic after Fine Machine Polish... I have noticed some hazing/streaking with the detail spray lately. Any tips or advice?
  2. Nice car. I had a silver '06 that was the twin to that, it was a nice & fun car.
  3. I haven't made it any farther on it. Might sneak out for a little bit tonight & do some more. Here is a pic from a few weeks ago. Stock looking TBSS.
  4. It is a '07 Jewel Red Trailblazer SS, I keep it looking pretty good, but it is my daily driver all year, so I decided to give it a full detail before the bad weather hits us. It had some minor swirling, so just went ahead with the 3 steps & the Flex. It is dark out & my lighting isn't the best for pics, but wanted to show my appreciation to the forum & products. After the 3 step & wipe down with detail spray. While I it was drying today, I decided to hit the bow tie with some PlastiDip.
  5. Thanks everyone! A couple more... Before: After: Before: After:
  6. That has been the case for the last few weeks...
  7. OK, good to know. I didn't see a decrease in performance, so I figured it was all good.
  8. Thanks! It has standard Mustang mods, exhaust, pulleys, mass air meter, throttle body. I never wanted it to be fast, just run good & sound nice.
  9. This car is a member of the family, it has been around through a lot of ups and downs. It is the first car I ever bought for myself & will likely keep it for life. It sits in the garage most of the time while I play with more fun toys & it deserved some love. I used the Flex & the Adam's 3 step polishes with the corresponding pads. I am still pretty new to the Adam's line & the Flex, I did notice on this car that I had better results on speed 5 vs speed 6. Here was a test section on the driver's side 1/4. Before: After green pad/polish: Reflection in the dark garage with a halogen light, after green pad/polish: I wasn't able to get any direct sun shots today for comparisons, but after some wax, I'll snap a few. As it sits now, there is 1 coat of sealer on it & I will be layering some wax on in the next week:
  10. Is it normal for the silver "head" of the polisher to get very hot after running on speed 5 or 6? It gets hot enough that I certainly try not to touch it. The good thing is, I have no regrets about the purchase!
  11. Thanks everyone! I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I bought it from a local supplier & love it.
  12. I haven't had my black Mustang out yet this year & in celebration of the magazine feature that just hit the news stand I decided to give it a good clean up. I'm going head out to cruise night tonight! It didn't need much, just a good wash & I decided the white pad and FMP would do the trick. I was using a Flex, on speed 5. It is about 80* in my garage today, the polish flashes quickly. It looks & feels good! I can't stop rubbing it. Here is a pic of the magazine spread...
  13. I received my 4" pad kit today, I can't wait to use them tomorrow. Inside the box was a handful of Made in the USA mints. Thanks for the quick service/shipping!
  14. I have it on a pump gas, street tune. It hasn't been on a dyno or track yet. I have driven it all over the place, it is a blast to drive. That blue Mustang is serious looking!
  15. Last winter right after it was put together... Here it is last year at this time... New wheels last Spring... Silver stripe deleted...(Gas tank Plasti Coated) One more engine shot...
  16. Thanks! There are lots of Chevy parts on this one!
  17. I finally had a little time to spend on one of my own cars last night...I like to change things often, I've had the car together about a year, so needed an updated look. Getting rid of the smoked lamps in favor of some stockers. The HIDs are way brighter now.
  18. Those look great! I may have to do mine, they aren't really bad, but could look better.
