  1. I'm doing my first pc correction this weekend too! Good luck and be patient.
  2. Thanks for the input guys. I'll try and get some pictures up tomorrow of the areas on my car that I'm worried about. It's a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am if that helps at all.
  3. So how important is it to keep the machine on a flat surface? Because there's a lot of places on my cars that have places where there's no way I'm going to be able to keep it flat and get that area.
  4. Okay, im new at this so just bare with me people. I dont have a machine yet, but will have one in the near future. I've watched all the videos probably 2 or 3 times so far, and have a couple questions. They arent so much about the process though. Question 1: How do you know when to tape, what to tape, and whats okay not to tape? Question 2: The areas that you do have to tape, how do you correct those areas? Question 3: What happens if the pads go over the tape on accident, or over any trim? Will it completely mess up the pad? Question 4: What do you do for those areas you cant get with the machine, and even with the 4inch pads? I know I've seen some people say you can find ways to get in those areas with the machine, but as far as I understand the machine always has to be on a flat surface? So for those areas would I just use the hand polishing? I've used the hand polishing before, but really havent seen much improvement on those areas. Well, those are just a few questions that have been on my mind before I get a machine.
  5. I live in Midland TX and have the same problem, since we don't have a well. But the sheet rinse does knock off most of the water, and has helped tremendously.
  6. Haha thanks for the input guys. I pretty much burn through all the products as it is. My family pretty much expects me to have all the vehicles clean.
  7. So 3-4 oz all purpose cleaner and the normal 2 oz shampoo?
  8. I am wanting to do a strip wash this weekend, but I don't know the correct way to. I don't know if there is already a good thread on this, so I thought I'd just ask anyways.
  9. So do I want a higher GPM? This is just a part time job, so I'm not gonna go all out on the equipment. The pressure washer and tank alone are close to $500.
  10. The only thing im concerned about is the psi. I dont want one that is too strong or too little. We could do the wash and wax, but 30 minutes seems pretty fast for a good coat of wax to go on. Especially in this texas heat.
  11. I have a truck, but will be carrying an open trailer where the water tank will go. I was planning on going with a gas powered, but i wouldnt rule out an electric one if i get a generator.
  12. Im actually a new member on here from Midland Texas, but ive been using Adams products for awhile now. Im starting a mobile wash here soon, and i dont know which pressure washer would be best. It will be strictly for washing vehicles. I was thinking i would be able to find one in the 200-300 dollar range. Even cheaper would help too, haha. Any input or tips would be appreciated. -Jory.
