been using my electric leaf blower the last few washes, which works ok, but extremely awkward to handle while blowing my truck off. Would love to buy the master blaster, but wife would flip her wig if i spent that much for another adams purchase lol. Thinking about the sidekick, but curious how well it would work for my 07 dodge ram quad cab and wife's 12 jeep cherokee. Not looking to dry the entire vehicle, bc i will use the great white and ds for that, but just to get the bulk of standing water off the roof/hood, and water out of the nooks and crannies around mirrors, etc. Will the sidekick suit my needs, or should i save further for a future master blaster?

If I'm reading this right you didn't wash it during the first 5 or 6 uses?
Just for the record the towel should be washed after EVERY use.
No, this was my first time washing it. Seriously though, it should be thrown in the wash after every use? I just figured when it looks like it's getting a bit dirty after a few uses then wash it?

Sorry, I agree, just figured I would post here first for some reason. Emailed Adams yesterday so hopefully I'll get a quick response tomorrow and my in and out will be on the way

Sorry about the title, man do I feel dumb! Meant to say great white worked perfect, stupid iPhone probably auto corrected my spelling lol

not sure what i did, but haven't been too impressed with the great white the first 5 or 6 uses. Decided to wash it the other day bc it was looking a little dirty, threw it in the dryer on low heat after wash. Tried it again today washing the wife's jeep, and finally it worked perfect!! Did the pooling sheetwater rinse (which i normally do anyway), and blew off the bulk of the standing water on the roof/hood with the gas leaf blower. Using ds as drying agent, dried the whole jeep cherokee without ringing out once, and left no water spots at all! Even tried to wring it out after drying the whole car, and no water would wring out. Not sure what i did so much differently, but was soooo happy with the great white's performance today lol. Think my main problem was just too much standing water on the panels, i found myself wringing the towel out probably 10 times during the drying process

didn't even think about it until tonight, but just received my labor day special order yesterday, but didn't get the free in&out spray. Punched in the code at checkout and received 15% off my $99+ order, but wasn't a free in&out supposed to be supplied for the deal?

Yeah, don't use the absorber anymore, just on the wheels to dry them off. Have read some people using 2 great white's, maybe that would work better for me. One for the bulk of the water and then a second for the final wipe down. Just seems sometimes it leaves small streaks/spots, especially on glass, and I find myself detail spraying the whole car after a wash to get rid of all the small streaks and spots

what are your favorite micro fiber towels, and for which task? Always find myself picking up micro's from auto stores thinking "this should work great" and get home and their worthless. So far have accumulated a few adams towels and i love them. WW towels work perfect for waterless wash, glass cleaning towels work great, great white drying towel-still not too sure if i like it or not. Absorber's i used to use seem to leave the car more spotless-any tips for using the GW drying towel? Just ordered a few single soft towels, hopefully they work well too. Curious what your towels are for detail spray, and removing waxes/polishes. Only towels i have found at the store that i like are bulk packs of micro fibers at sams club. More like a utility micro fiber, but they seem to work great for everything. Hoping the single soft adams towels work great for ds, wax and polish removal, brilliant glaze-hopefully my new go to towel for misc tasks on the paint lol

got her all waxed up and figured i'd share some pics. Using all adam's products-2 bucket wash using the merino (wife says it looks like a cat lol), followed by buttery wax and then a quick wipe down with detail spray, and svrt on the tires/lower trim pieces. Pain in the but maintaining both black vehicles, but damn do they look good when all cleaned up
-
Normally throw them in the washer with liquid detergent, but read that it's bad to put them in the dryer on high heat bc it breaks down the fibers. So how do u guys dry them, dryer on low heat, or hang them out to dry

Does quick sealant provide any wax/protection properties, or is it mainly just for a nice deep shine? For instance, I I just washed the truck and wanted to detail it a bit and shine it up, would quick sealant be a fast/easy way of achieving this?

about to pull the trigger on another adams order, and was thinking about ordering one of the two. Both the wife and I have black vehicles-07 dodge ram hemi for me and 12 grand cherokee hemi for her. Being both black, which would u recommend, quick sealant or brilliant glaze? Truck being 5 years old now has some slight swirls in the clear, not even noticeable in the sun, just in the garage under the fluorescent light, would the brilliant glaze be best for hiding these minor imperfections? Currently have buttery wax also, plan on getting some american in the future

Ok thanks, will order the 16 oz spray bottle. Gonna also try the merino wash mit and jumbo wash pad, along with the waterless wash towels and grit guards for the buckets, and my Adams collection should be complete for now lol. Adams is killing the bank account, already have the car wash, waterless wash, detail spray (just ordered one gallon refills for these too), all purpose cleaner, and super vrt, and fire hose nozzle. Their product are just a little bit addicting lol
-
Getting ready for another Adams order soon and figured I would try the glass cleaner. Is the 16 oz bottle the biggest sprayer bottle with the glass cleaner, or is there a 36 oz spray bottle available with it

so waterless wash would be safer when the vehicle is a little dusty, waterspots, etc? Does it lubricate better than the adams detail spray, preventing the possibility of scratching/swirling the clear coat? Have used meguiars quick detailer for years when the truck just needed a quick wipe down, but not a full wash

hello all, just recently discovered adams polishing products and seems great so far. Every week I'm detailing my truck (2007 dodge ram 4x4 hemi-black) and the wife's new jeep (2012 hemi laredo-also black), as well as my 2008 hayabusa. Originally discovered adams bc i was looking for the best tire dressing that doesn't sling everywhere and look like crap, have bought so many brands of products it's un-real. Read about the vrt stuff so i ordered some, along with a few other adams products-quick detailer, in & out spray, car wash, fire hose nozzle. Looking for a few more goodies to purchase, thinkin about the wheel cleaner and all purpose cleaner, buttery wax, maybe paint sealant? Any advice u guys can give me to adams products u like best and use most frequently would be great. Was thinkin about buyin the waterless wash, but i have always used quick detailer products when the truck isn't dirty enough for a bath, is the waterlesss wash about the same as the quick detailer?? To say the least, these adams products seem great and i am hooked after the first use lol. Much better than the meguiar's i always use
finally picked up a master blaster today!!

found out my local motorcycle superstore sells them (iron pony), decided i was gonna try it out and was planning on purchasing the sidekick. After looking at them, they had 3 different models, I decided to go with this one Air Force® Blaster Motorcycle Dryer | Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner
quite a bit more than i wanted to spend, but just washed the truck and it worked great. Took maybe 10-15 minutes to blow all the water out of the crevices and did a pretty good job of getting the bulk of the water off of the rest of the truck. Then followed with a quick ds mist and great white. Wanted the big master blaster, but for $100 cheaper this little guy worked great. Nice and small so it's easy to store in my packed garage, and very easy to walk around the truck holding the unit in one hand and the hose in the other.
