A couple of things. Watch for heat. If you use an extension cord, make sure that it is the correct gauge. If not, that will cause the unit to get hot as hell and burn up. That will also happen if you plug it into an outlet that has to many things on that circuit (it starves the unit of current). As long as it is not getting to hot to hold in your hand, you should be okay.

Yea, it does sound better on 5. Lets compare it to mine. Do a speed of 6 but this time, put it on the car. Use a white pad and FMP on a speed of 6. Here's what mine sounds like:

Yes, you'll see color in your bucket of water with the first stroke. That would be a death sentence for your paint if it had clear coat on top of it.

My question is this. Should one should wash the car (Foam gun and two bucket...) then dry then proceed to claying? And after the claying does one jump right into the application of the products or does one rinse off the car, or wipe it down, or what?

I wash the car again after claying. I want to see the paint in its exact condition before I start working on it.

I was happy for the guys with plaques cause they were leaving but also not happy it was me. Second time in Korea and hoping its my last lol.
