Normally my wash products are in the laundry room (attached to the carport), but for the winter I brought all the liquids into the house. I have 4 large Adam's boxes decorating my kitchen.
Good decoration. I'd put up a shelf in the living room and display all my Adam's products if I could.
I think I've kept all my boxes so far, because I know I'll need them one day. I feel a move coming on within the next year and they'll be great for packing.

Nice.
What type of applicator did you use for the polish, the blue 4" pad?
Also what did you use to apply the Machine Sealant on the wheel?

Cleaned up nice man:2thumbs:

I'm sure you're waiting until you can give it a full detail, but you're really slacking on pics, man! Also, I agree with your son that Optimus is a pretty badass name.
It's been a crazy week, and I feel lucky I got the car home in the snow. I'll have pics taken this weekend, and also start some paint correction. Unfortunately there are some areas like the spoiler and the Sail panel will have to be repainted. She's not perfect but I'm willing to attempt to get it there.

You could have taken it off and mounted it to the roof rack. It would be one hell if a unicorn.

Nice car Andrew!
I was under the impression that the Firehawk was only in a yellow, at least that is the only color I've seen on 'em.
Congratulations on the purchase!

BTW: Congratulations on the next little Holder.
Thanks, I believe they could have been ordered in any color that they offered for the Trans Am.
Pretty excited about the baby, my boy wants to name it "Baby Optimus"

Laundry room too, but it's down in the basement. It's a nice central location for all my products.

That sucks man. You might want to look a purchasing new carpet, some of them stains aren't coming out and I can only imagine what it smells like. Good luck

Welcome to the obsession that is Adam's

you'll find the more you maintain your vehicle the less product you'll be using.

If this car toured the southeast in 2000 and 2001 like the owner said it did. Then this was the same car i took pictures of when I was at the Pepsi 400 in Daytona. Back when i was in high school and could only drool over these cars.
Anyway, didn't get back til 5pm today and had to drive in some nasty slush for 6 hours, needless to say the car is disgusting. However I did get a chance to tackle the front license plate cover, since it was off. Swirls camed out but it still has some deep scratches that may require some wet sanding. Hopefully i can get to the rest of the car this weekend.
I happy to have this car finally in my garage.

Once you get it all removed be sure to pick up some quick sealant to aid in the removal in the future.

Welcome, post up some pics of what you're working with.

Good looking pick up man. I hope your able hang on to the TBSS.

That's awesome. Those 1LE's are pretty BA for what they are. Suspension and new rear end gears go a long way.

Next time I pick up a car it will be with a trailer. I don't mind doing the work myself.
I'm just grateful the previous owner is being so nice about the situation. When I called him up and told him about it I never expected him to pay for it.
By the he actually owns a 10th anniversary Firehawk. Blew me away he had 2, plus a Vette in the garage.

So, update. We dropped the car off Saturday afternoon. This place called Dobbs quoted us 4.5 hours of work and the bill would be $1200-$1500 depending on what fuel pump the car needed. The had 3 hours to work on it Saturday. Didn't start it, not a big deal I understand you can't start a vehicle right away a the time. We call Monday, guy says, "yeah we started it this morning". Me being curious I rode up there at noon in the snow. Sure enough the car hasn't been started. It was on the lift but the exhaust still there and the rear end still installed showed signs the car wasn't started. The guy says, " sorry we're busy". Oh man this got me fired up when he told me earlier it was started already. Now he tells me won't be done til 5pm. I'm not driving him at night in the snow, so another night here in st Charles, MO.

Cool man,

Correct... the housing is designed NOT to be sealed perfectly. The excess air coming out of the seam around the top is to help keep the motor from overheating.
Is this the same for the mini vac n' blow as well?

Or India Pale Ale if your drinking it
I always thought it was weird people wiping their car down with beer. I just thought it was a good time to grab a beer for the "IPA Wipe Down"

Quite a few TBSS owners here as well.

Welcome. You'll enjoy cleaning it with Adam's products. There's a lot to learn here.
Lesson # 1 learned: don't hand a guy $100 to detail a big *** truck cus he Probly created the majority of the swirls.

Welcome. Sounds like a smart club.
