Just received my recent order the other day and applied the BG then the new formula the following day. I did not think that it was "slicker" then the old formula. It seemed to come off faster and less streaking.

Will have to see what it looks like in the sun tomorrow as its been sitting in the garage since I washed it.

I also hate Mobile Sites. They are a pain to navigate and get stuff done. I'd much rather use a full feature site and pinch to zoom. Much easier.

Getting my new formula this week. I have 36oz of the old DS left from the surprise box deal. Now I'm getting 36oz of the new formula.

I guess I will use the old for spraying the truck when it's wet and then use the new for when its done being dryed.

I think the buyer bought it so quick because he knew the infamous GM hitch cover came with the truck.

From the pics looks like he got a real clean truck. The kind that I wish I could have found when searching for mine.

You can use the Porter Cable with Adam's polishes and pads many, many times before being concerned about going through the clear coat. Also, with the correct 2 bucket wash technique you should not need to use the most aggressive polish/pad combination. Most folks do one or two corrections each year.

Newbie MP question

So after watching the videos on what the machine polishing is doing to the clear coat by taking down a layer and filling it with product to take down the imperfections out of the clear.

My question is that if you do this once using the PC or Flex on the second time of MP it would or could be no more clear left.

Trying to justify the cost of a MP if you can only use it one time on your car unless your detailing multiple different cars.

65k is pretty good for an 06. AWD or 2wd? AWD will generally be about 2-3 k more. It looks like the 3ss model and in my opinion is the best.

06 was the first year for this model and they did some changes over the years. Check out trailblazerss-shootout. Gives a lot of info on the trucks. Trailblazerss owners.com is also a great forum if you decide to get it.

Bought mine in May of 2011 with 52k miles for $20k. I now have 66k with a bunch of goodies and AWD

Car guys know what it is but most don't unless yours sounds like mine ( like a boat motor) then they turn heads.
