  1. I was afraid of that. I'll try some brilliant glaze, but for now could I put some buttery wax on them?
  2. Well I was cleaning my wheels from my post Silver lake trip and started by washing them, followed by clay baring then polished them. 3 of the wheels look great, one looks like it almost has holograms in the chrome. Not sure what's going on and what I might do to fix this or if I'm just sol. Here's the best pic I could get, hopefully some of you knowledgeable folks can assist me.
  3. This is going to work perfect for when i swap out to 22x14" chrome wheel's come spring!
  4. ^ exactly my thought! Look's great man!
  5. I'll be there!! Hide some Focus pad's for with the drill adapter for me to buy!
  6. easiest way to quickly dry them is a master blaster or leaf blower. I typically do this to the wheels after washing them then continue on to washing the rest of the truck. then dry the whole thing misting detail spray as i go.
  7. Thanks for telling me that. The only reason i did that was because i was getting some premature drying and water spot's. But that's good to know as i wont waste my time with it unless that situation happen's.
  8. I drove an hr one way to get more Adam's product i needed for my upcoming show saturday. I feel your pain.
  9. 5 hrs! Nor did i hit the inner fender wells to hard because the truck owner live's on a dirt road.
  10. After you get done with your 3 step and finish waxing i would spray super sealent on it. Then I would use the detail spray with a microfiber towel and go over it at the show.
  11. I detailed a truck yesterday that's midnight blue. It's an 09 had a few decent swirls throughout rough to the touch and been thrue a few auto car washes that were NOT touchless. I started with Dawn to strip it down followed by detail spray across the entire thing. Next step was clay bar , full polishing, and then the Buttery Wax. I am pretty amazed with the result's and will let you guy's be the judges. Sorry for the phone pic's as i don't yet have a high res camera.
  12. This is the point at which the IFS suspension was no longer willing to play ball and retired. Let the solid axle conversion begin. Swapped rear 10 bolt in favor of a 14 bolt from a 1 ton F-350 next to it for refrence doing work last winter Flexin the suspension a bit cleaned up with the old black wheel's and how it currently sit's
  13. Here are some picture's from when i first bought it up until the point i'm at now. A week after i bought i already had wheel's and tires stuffed under and a dual exhaust setup. I quickly got bored with that and made a huge mistake. I hate how the truck looked at this point and am quit embarrassed i went Autozone stick overboard. Then i changed it up again for the better, yet not the best.
  14. Alright i'll toss up a few pic's of my ride's/never ending project. 97 chevy i've been working on for about 5 year's. This is an older pic but i still like it. And the 2012 chevy Cruz RS.

  16. couple more. And the 2012 Cruz RS. Completly stock minus an Adam's detail.
  17. Engine- gmperformance parts 383 Trans - built 4l60e solid axle conversion up front using a Hp44 and ORD bracket's with dual shock setup Rear axle is a 14 bolt ff swapped from a 79 i also swapped the drum brake's for disc's. Audio sytem is an Alpine head unit, Boston Acoustic compnent with 2 Jl w3 12's and a Kenwood amp. The seats are my next project after reagearing the axle's. As for body mod's the paint is original, getting a bit rough after 15 years but this winter it's getting a fresh paint job, the 2 inch cowl hood is new, Those ugly side hook's will be removed also. Can't think of much more at the moment.
