  1. Pretty sure Royal Purple is approved among the Subaru people so I don't see any problem with that. Just keep up on the changes like I said. Sounds like a good time though! That should put you around 300whp which is also what i'm at with my '05 Legacy GT (roughly 300whp/340wtq).
  2. Awesome! Big Subaru guy myself. Good luck on it and just please make sure to stick to the 3k miles oil change interval. These cars are very picky. Use only synthetic and NOT Mobil 1 Synthetic. Good luck with her though! Keep the pictures coming of further details
  3. Welcome Tim! I'm from Scranton, myself.
  4. Actually I'm pretty sure it's MUCH easier adding the jazzy aux in, so I'd do that.
  5. Honestly i'm not quite sure. I'm still trying to figure it out. The radio is in, but just have to get the aux working now. I believe I found a write up before on LegacyGT.com. If you're not already a member there, I highly suggest joining! So much info to be had there. I'm also on the site with my same user name.
  6. Thanks!! AccessPort is awesome, although a bit pricey. I do all tuning through my tuner (Infamous Performance) and a netbook I have hooked up to the car. Speaking of which.. I still need to finish that tune lol. The Jazzy mod for the stereo everyone seems to love. I actually am in the process of converting to an '07 stereo but school is killing all my time. Either i'm in school, detailing a car, or at my actual job. Best of luck with the car! PM me with any questions you might have. These LGT's are picky and you gotta do all the right things to it - mainly being stay on top of oil changes. .. I recommend Castrol Syntec or Rotella T6.
  7. Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome!! This is quite a nice forum I see. One of my favorites already, besides my car's forum site of course. And this....would be awesome. I frequent (or at least try to) to Kutztown on some weekends. Maybe we'll have to meet up some time and you can show me how a Flex works. I'd love to actually see it in real life action before buying, although I don't doubt its ability at all.
  8. Thanks, ArmyAcadia! Just wanted to represent a bit, ya know.
  9. Great purchase! I have the same car, just slightly..err.. heavily modded at around 300 wheel horse/340 wheel torque.
  10. Amazing results on some hurt paint. Stunning!!
  11. Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate it. The car is also up on my new site @ High-End Car Details since I just started my own small detail business. BrianT, i'll be sure to tell him. I also really love his Sonic!!
  12. Hey guys! Just detailed my buddy George's Victory Red 2012 Chevy Sonic. As of right now, I only detail by hand so it's as good as I can get it. Steps were: - Adam's Car Shampoo Wash and Great White dry - Adam's (amazing) Detail Spray + Clay attack - Adam's Swirl and Haze Remover - Adam's Revival Polish - Two layers of Sealant (not Adam's, so won't mention brand.. next order will be Adam's because for some reason I never knew of Quick Sealant. Oops ) To start, and gross you out (and this was from the hatch/rear bumper!!): On to the beauty: To note.. Above the exhaust where it's a full black section, it looks like a white line of residue but it's just a missed line when my buddy painted it) And a funny picture from my phone with an Angry Bomb Bird : Hope you guys like!
  13. Man that black is shining. Great results! Can't wait to get me some Quick Sealant
  14. I like this ^^.. I love white Evo's and this just makes me appreciate them more. Awesome job!!
  15. I'm late on this being new here.. But that Brilliant Glaze is truly brilliant. Looks amazing, OP!
  16. Thanks so much for the welcome. I'll be attending Carlisle this year and it seems Adams usually does too. I like this idea of a detailing clinic. I'll be sure to attend
  17. Thank you both for the welcome and also thank you for the suggestion! I honestly haven't heard of the Flex because I have yet to look that much into machine polishing. My friend Keith had a Porter Cable he loved so I figured they were still a good one to get. Guess it's time for some researching.
  18. Hey everyone! The name is Brian. Ever since I got my obsidian black pearl '05 Subaru Legacy GT, i've had to pay extra attention to detail being that it's black. Since i'm super picky as it is, my black car ALWAYS has to be clean. My buddy Keith directed me to Adam's Polishes and i've fallen in love ever since. Also, down the road now, my love for detailing has been expanded. I opened my own little "business" for detailing and work out of my brother's garage, hand detailing whoever comes my way. Eventually, i'll learn the works of a Porter Cable to expand even more. I hope to learn any little tips and tricks I can find through this forum. If you wanna check out or keep track of my detailing page, the link is http://www.facebook.com/BHEDetails. Like I said, it JUST started up so not many pictures nor cars have been done. Scheduled this weekend is a nice, red Chevy Sonic though that will be getting Adam's swirl/scratch, revive polish, wax treatment. Can't wait at all for that outcome! Another potential vehicle this weekend is a 2011 4dr Jeep Wrangler. Anyways, good to be here and I hope to talk to you all soon! Brian L.
