  1. Yeah you're probably right. The truck dyno'd at 686hp to the wheels on the street program and it's a handful right now. I'm not going to guess what it's going to be on the race program and then adding the dual n2o.
  2. I can tell you all about pushing a stock block too far! DOH! I guess that kind of clues you in as to why I have a built race motor now huh?
  3. bwahahahaaaaaa, you ain't right David! Sure, come on over and I'll take you for a ride........in the 02 L.
  4. No Ernie, I removed a leaf from the rear and went with the softer F150 springs in front to give it more rotation off the line. I had the Roush suspension originally before I started getting serious about drag racing. I'm pretty happy with it now. I just got all the bugs worked out of it after installing the new race drive train. The heat and elevation here kind of kill good et's but the last time out I ran it on the street program @ 11.09. I'm getting close to having the race program done which should easily get it into the upper 10's and then I'll do a program for the progressive dual nitrous set up. That should be frickin nuts when it's done, can't wait. The 04 I've just done some bling to. No racing with it, one money pit is enough. LOL I do drive the Impala but not much. It is probably my favorite to drive though.
  5. Thanks everyone for the kind replies. My 02 Lightning I drag race........the Impala just gets wiped down with micro fiber towels! Once again, thanks, great to be a part of the site.
  6. Wow Ernie - that racing helmet is Awesome!!! I thought mine was cool, but I'm throwing mine away and stealing yours. bwahahaahhaaaaaaaaa. Do you drag race or road race yours? My '02 is set up for drag racing and I do enjoy it but road racing is my passion. NOW HAND OVER THAT HELMET AND NO ONE GETS HURT!!!
  7. Thanks gents, much appreciated! They are Elite Barbs on the '02. Not many guys would know that. You obviously know your wheels quite well. The Impala is my favorite too. It might be 46 yr old technology but there's just something special about driving that car. I'm taking it out to Adams Detail Clinic on Sunday here in AZ. Great excuse to drive it right?
  8. I'm new to the site and thought I'd post up my rides and see what you think. Maybe not much to look at in comparison to some of the bad azz rides I've already seen around here, but what the heck. Here's a couple of mine; 2002 Ford Lightning - I got a little carried away modding this one. 2004 Ford Lightning 1963 Impala 409 w/dual quads & 4spd
  9. Sweet truck Ernie.........of course I'm very partial too! Check my avatar.
  10. Our Ford Lightning Club is quite the diverse group! C6 Vette, Saleen, 240Z with an LT-1, SRT-10, Lexus ISF and several IS250/350's, 63 Impala 409 w/dual quads......and oh yeah, a mass amount of Lightnings!
  11. Thanks Jason. I'm not sure how many of our Lightning club members we can get out there but Jeff and I will definitely be there. I'll post this up on the thread we created on our website.
  12. Let's see........tall, good looking, a tall blue eyed blonde wife and lots of money? Then that would probably be you cause it sure ain't me!
  13. Thanks Adam, I'll send you an email so we can discuss the details (no pun intended). I'll get something up on our website to see how many can attend at BJ. I'll be glad to help you out with the Lexus as well. P.S. - KWhite, we both live in Gilbert too.
  14. Adam, One of my club members, Jeff James has had contact with one of your representatives, I'll find out who exactly and let you know. But both Jeff and I met with you at the Barrett-Jackson in Jan 07. If you remember, I'm the New Car Mgr at Scottsdale Lexus and club president of AZLOC. Our local Lightning club forum is www.azloc.com. At the time we met we had lunch and hung out for quite a while that day. You had expressed interest in becoming an SV for our club and I extended an offer of $35 per year to do so. We asked for detail clinics and discounted pricing for our paid members, not all registered users. You were quite interested at the time but nothing ever materialized. I would love to have Adam's Polishes as an SV for our club. I personal use your products and really like them. I know Jeff made contact several times with one of your associates last spring to attend our annual club BBQ. We had planned on having a detail clinic then to highlight your products. Once again, we had a large turn out for this event and it would of been a great opportunity for you. I will extend every courtesy to you and your reps to be a part of our club. I would also like to have you reconsider joining as an SV. I would like to take you up on your offer for Sunday the 18th in the a.m. How may I contact you about setting up this up? I can email you my contact info as well if you would like?
