Thanks for the comlpliments. The wheels are black chrome FR 22's. I have a beater Honda that I now use for my DD . My SS is sitting at 77k miles and will now be my garage queen. I was debating whether or not to wet sand the whole truck to get the maximum shine out of the her. I think the truck looks clean now but I just am thinking of taking the shine up another notch. What do you guys think about that? What are the pros and cons of wet sanding? Thanks for your time! Here is another pic:

Well I went to the track last week and saw a 6 Cylinder explorer EB. I still beat him. his best 15.5 my best 14.5. They are quick though for being stock.

I definitely wouldn't buy a used car from an private seller with low miles if they wouldn't honor the factory warranty. So it's factory warranty unless /until you sell the car to someone else .? Your Cadillac has a certified 5 year warranty from the day you bought it? So if it also still had factory warranty does that certified warranty override the factory warranty? I don't need a 5 year warranty from date of purchase, I just would like a low mile used car with a factory warranty with at least 3 years left. My wife and I have never owned a vehicle with warranty so this is all new to us. The peace of mind would be nice. I'm a mechanic and it would be nice to not have to worry about repairs for a little while lol.

Chris : why do you suggest a lease? That never even crossed my mind.. Bruce: how is a certified warranty better than factory warranty? I also liked how the cruze felt. I thought it would have more power with the turbo and all but I'm just used to my TBSS power haha Sorry if this is a repost my computer is acting up.

So my wife has had her 99 Honda Civic Lx for about 9 years and it has 180k. She is currently in Nursing school and is set to graduate in December. We have been looking at cars this past week and test drove a 2012 Cruze RS package with 20k miles. This car belongs to a private owner. We also test drove one from a dealer that offered a 3 year B2B warranty/5year 100k powertrain warranty. Another dealer had one for sale with 35k and they only offered 2year/100k warranty.?? I thought that if you bought a vehicle it was covered by GM's 5 year / 100k mile warranty and it was transferable between seller and buyer whether it is a private owner sale or dealer? I called Stevinson chevrolet and asked why they only offer 2 year and century chevrolet offered 5 year warranty? The sales guy said that its not a certified car. So I'm confused on the whole warranty thing. He also said that buying from a private seller doesnt necessarily mean I will have warranty with the purchase even though it only has 20k miles. This is starting to be a headache. Any thoughts.?

I used it for the first time after my paint correction to get ready for a show last week. I must say it really made the paint Shine. Of course I then followed it with Americana. I think brilliant glaze is my favorite product !

Yea the DA wa probably above 8000 that day. My best run with my truck is a 14.5 with different wheels with bad DA of course.

Hello ! This past week i picked up a bunch of Adams products with the flex machine! I couldnt wait to make my truck shine. There was a truck show at Bandimere and it was nice to hear nice comments about my truck: " Thats an 07', it looks brand new!" "Is that you DD or a garage queen?" ( its my DD) "Is that a fresh paint job, the black paint looks amazing" Thanks to all the Adams crew for answering some questions that i had. Special thanks to Mook . Back in January he showed me how to use the Flex and now that I finally bought one he refreshed my memory on how to polish. I like that Im so close to the Adams Warehouse too. What a small world indeed. It is a beautiful car. Some of you might wonder why he was in our shop. Well he is a QC inspector for our buses and he stopped by to just take the top off the car and store in the shop. When I found out he was QC I thought I could be in trouble for not having my safety glasses on or something hahaha.

I'm a diesel technician and work on RTD buses ( local transit buses). This past Saturday I was rebuilding and engine minding my own business in the corner of the shop when I hear this car come into the shop that sounded pretty mean. I turn around and there is a beautiful 1932 Ford! I immediately drop my tools to check it out. I started talking to the Kevin , the owner of the car and he said he was getting ready to go to a car show. I told him to make sure and stop by an Adams booth as I knew they were gonna be there. Then he tells me yea I know Adams , this car is on their bottles! I knew this car looked familiar! Kevin began to search his car for a bottle and couldn't find one , so I ran to my box and grabbed a bottle . Got a few pics! It was nice to see the beautiful car in person! The owner was so nice he wanted me to sit in it and take pics but I was full of oil and grease lol

I discovered Adams products about a year ago. I didn't even know how to properly wash or detail a car before that. I have a black SS and its a pain to keep clean but absolutely love the way it Looks when it's clean. I hope to buy my flex machine soon and see my truck at its best. I have never used Americana on it so I'm anxious to see if my face is gonna melt or not lol.
