i guess the question remains, that the sealant bonds best to bare paint, meaning an ipa wipedown after polish. that being said, after the 12 hour cure, does the second coat of sealant bond as well as the first considering it isnt bare paint anymore? this is a process i may want to add to the daily driver F150

mine is also 90% garage and no rain at all. i would guess one is more than enough. i will let it cure about 14 hours, then the glaze, then americana? that should look pretty deep correct?

Ok, did a strip wash ( dawn and all purpose in foam gun, and same mix in 2 bucket) after drying did an IPA to be sure. Question is this. I'm all taped off and hitting the flex with FM polish. Then i'm going to IPA again before the machine super sealant. I understand that the MSS needs to bond directly to the paint , hence the IPA. Now, some people do two coats of MSS but what i don't follow is will the mss bond to itself on the second coat? is this recommended? im going to follow MSS with glaze, then top coat with americana. is this a good approach?

^^^thanks so much for the time!!^^ lets change your namre to ihaveashelby!!:lol: one more question. the strip wash i want to do would combine the 2 areas i've seen here. 2oz apc/4oz car shampoo and 2 oz of dawn in a foam gun and wash bucket. is that over kill, or pure insurance that i will be completely stripped of wax?. hearing diff techniques putting on tha machine glaze, letting it sit for a few hours, removing it, then let the car sit 24 hours to cure before glaze and wax?, is that overkill?

so how do you avoid/or remove streaks after an ipa before sealant/glaze/wax?

so polish, then ipa? i guess mist it on, wipe with great wht mf, waterless wash mf, or single soft mf? and the ipa doesnt harm shine provided by, or remove polish? sorry, im slow

i rode the short bus so forgive me, but, if you 2 bucket wash, ipa, clay, polish, seal, glaze, why would you ipa again before lsp(wax)? wouldnt that just undo what was done to that point? wouldnt the wax go on over the polish/sealant/glaze?

Guys, New to the forum, jerseygator (Peter) i met from team shelby. he detailed my 2013 Shelby after delivery (the car with the color combo nobody seemed to like). he used all adams products. i was so happy, i ordered a load of adams for myself. If the people here are 1/4 as nice and real as peter, i'm in for a treat!
