  1. Update*

I sprayed Quick Sealant on the leading edges, waited a few minutes and wiped with a super soft towel. Like I stated earlier, I keep my paint well cleaned and waxed and normally bugs are bugs, not ridiculously hard to get off but still takes some elbow grease.

The bugs are noticeably easier to remove after the QS application. Quick and easy pre-trip step for the future.

  2. What is/are the best method and/or products to use for a pre-trip bug treatment?

There's no getting away from the bugs where I'm at and where I'm going (lakeside). I just would love to make removing them as easy as possible. I never let them sit more than a day after my destination but anything to make it easier!

I'm covered well on Adam's products so what do you say? Btw, I keep my car well protected day to day.

  3. I think I must have posted everywhere but here apparently.  Our supplier inadvertently sent us an entire pallet of IOS instead of QS last week.

Pretty big goof up, and since the manufacturing time for these is considerably longer that our standard (non aerosol) chemicals, it's going to likely be a few weeks before we get any in.  Sorry guys!

If you're in a pinch, LPS is my weapon of choice and we have plenty of it.  The only downfall is it can't get into tight spaces like QS can, obviously.

Would it be ok to use on my exhaust tips?

  4. Does anyone know of a thread that explains each step AND in the correct order?

Reason: I just today discovered that the Sealant should be given time to "set up?" Before moving on to the next step. Just did every step to my car and didn't wait at all.

I know about the videos and I've watched them all, more than once. For me, when the time comes to actually get dirty I totally forget those things. A quick reference guide/checklist is needed, for me anyway.

I thought I saw one before but can't seem to find it :(

  5. This was just luck on my part!

I was claying my car today and when at the rear noticed, yet again, how terrible my exhaust tips were looking. I said what the heck and proceeded to use my Adam's Detail Spray and clay bar on them and WOW! I can't believe the results!

Tip: Use a small piece of clay because it'll be ruined afterwards!

    Before and after pictures attached.

Thanks Adam's for the great products! Now I can rest easy knowing my exhaust tips aren't permanently nasty looking and/or damaged!

  6. After a few cars down with the new stuff I'd say this: the smell is to die for!, it seems to have a bit more wax in it than the last one, which is good, it doesn't seem to clean as well as the previous one( I use this stuff exclusively for my Camaro and the wife's Malibu so I use it for bug removal and cleaning, same as the last version, it takes a bit more elbow grease to get tough dirt off). Probably shouldn't do what I do, but I do, lol. Overall I do think the final outcome is better, better results for sure.

  7. I've had mine for over 2 years now. My only issue is that the backing of the mats come off. It gets in the carpet and generally makes a mess. Tried contacting the manufacturer but since I got them from the dealer I'm supposed to go through them, which I won't do. I mean they have the sewn in Lloyd's badge. Other than that, they're great.
