  1. argh. hoping to not remove the panel. It's only 3 years old and im afraid if i do an oopsie, there goes my warranty. Any other suggestions?
  2. Hey guys, Hoping someone could help me with this problem. As you can see from the pictures, the center wood console of my BMW contains light swirls and scratches. How would I go abouts to correct it? I tried hand polishing it using the swirl and haze remover and the revive polish, but was unable to get rid of it. The area is too small for me to use the hand drill pad, so by hand is probably the only way. I dont have the severe polish nor the new 2 step polish. What can i do with the products that i got? In addition, i'm assuming that the reason i got these scratches and swirls to begin with was because I was using an over the counter microfiber cloth that I keep inside my car for when I want to wipe away dust, wiping dry. This was before I started to use Adam's products. To prevent more in the future, what's the best method and cloth to use? I now have a small 4oz bottle of TID that i keep in the car, but still using the same microfiber cloth. Is it best to use some other cloth? I do not have the utility cloth, but have the waterless cloth. Should I cut that up so it's smaller and i can keep in my car? Should I always apply the surface with the TID instead of wiping it dry? Any help or advise would be much appreciated. Mahalo, Ryan
  3. I personally love the smell. Reminds me of a massage spa. First time I used it I was like, "this smells familiar". And of course it would smell like a massage spa because of the wax they use. Smell makes me feel reassured that it's a high quality wax.
  4. In garage during night. But it is my daily commuter car. Why.. Not enough wash?

  6. Just wondering when to reapply the glass sealant? I've applied mine towards the end of April, and since then my car has had a few rain showers and I have washed it 2 times already. How long should the sealant last for? What's the best indicator that it needs more? Driving 50mph and seeing the rain bead off isn't a good indicator, especially when there is no water available. Thanks for your help, Ryan
  7. I thought the same thing when i first used it and after seeking help here on the forum, I too used too much. My seats where slippery and didn't have a matte look. I wiped it down with a MF towel and after 2-3 days, i was very pleased with the results. I assume this was your first time using it? They should really say to use LESS and use only one application for both front and back seat. If too little, you can always add more. Better to add more than to take off. Hope it works out for you cause like i said, like you, i as very disappointed at first, but then after a few days, it subsided and got the results i liked. Plus i love the smell of it. Good luck
  8. That's one of the many reasons i love Adam's product. They can be used for other things other than just car specific. Which made me come up with the new thread of "What else do you use Adam's product for?" http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/23677-where-else-do-you-use-adams-product/
  9. Idea came to me while reading another thread. Curious to know what else you guys and ladies use Adam's product for? 11. so awesome! i just started on Adam products, but i've been hooked on it ever since and not just in terms of using and buying the products, but watching the videos (multiple times), checking the forums every day and night, thinking about what else I could do to my cars to make them look their best. That's cool you got to go and meet the people at the HD. That will be on my list to go if i ever do get off this island and visit Colorado.

  13. i used this http://www.autogeek.net/waterfilterkit2.html after i noticed bad water spots started appearing on my brand new black car. I wasn't sure what was causing it, till i read that it could be due to hard water. After using it for over 3 years, i can say that my water spots have diminished. It's easy to install. I just had to order a cartridge replacement last month. Highly recommend if you wash regularly.
  14. Exhaust pipe. Mainly cause I didn't have the right tool to clean it. Now that I got the APC and a steel brush.. Was able to clean all the black exhaust up and put some revive polish on to make it shiny. Looks great now
  15. I would like to know the answer to this question as well. What method do you guys use? I have a 32oz of 70% IPA. Dilute and spray on or apply to towel and wipe without dilution?
  16. Ah ok. Don't have state troopers here in Hawaii so not use to that and being that we only have 3 highways... Wish I could speed a bit here. Lol
  17. Thanks. I made some changes... Let's see if it works
  18. Is it just me or have the email notifications stop? I did like it when an email was sent to notify me when a new post was posted on threads I posted on. Same thing for others, or is there a setting I have to turn on?
