So under my jeep has seen better days, very worn out looking and somewhat rusty. Thinking I should help it out a little once I get done with the paint. Not sure what to use to fix it for the long haul, was kinda thinking that black rust converter type paint. But I also saw some black rubberized type spray paint that looked interesting! Any thoughts...

Pressure wash it real good and have it undercoated

 

Undercoating will also act as a sound barrier from road noise just as a bonus feature.lol

Some guys I know have had the whole underside, including fender linings of their truck shot with linex... its not cheap due to all the work entailed, but the effect is really nice.
