LDM
Today I decided to tackle the interior on my mom's 1999 Suburban. It wasn't in terrible shape but still long overdue for a cleaning. I wasn't going for perfect, but it still probably took me about four hours to do the whole thing. There's a lot of real estate in this thing. I vacuumed all the carpets with my Vac n' Blow and then hit any stains with Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner and a carpet brush. I then used a cotton towel to scrub up any dirt the cleaner and brush agitated. All the trim pieces and seats were attacked with Leather & Interior Cleaner and a horsehair brush. They were then wiped clean with a black utility microfiber. I applied Leather & Interior Conditioner to all the seats by hand and then wiped any excess and evened things out with a red dressing applicator. I then applied conditioner to all the trim with the applicator. I finished by cleaning all the glass inside and out. Anyhow, without further ado, here's the pics: Before, after I pulled everything out of the truck: Not really sure what was on top of the 3rd seat here, but the Leather & Interior Cleaner was able to clean it off without much trouble. Carolinaboy
Looks great. I had an old suburban just like that. There is a ton of real estate in those for sure!
LDM
Thanks guys. I have to admit I kinda chuckled when you called that an "old" Suburban (though it really is now). Here's a pic of my own Suburban, and what I still think of as the "old body style":
